the beginning

It was a rainy day (as usual). Catherine's four sons: Ryan, Derek, Jamal and Alex were all on their consoles playing differently games. Ryan was on his PC playing Valorant, Derek was on his X-box playing Fortnite, Jamal was on his brand new PS5 playing with his friends on COD, and Alex was on his Nintendo playing Minecraft on his own. Catherine called down all of her son's to the living room to show something important that came in the mail Ina box. None of them seemed excited except Catherine until they opened the box. Inside was a shiny gem (about as big as a honey crisp apple) that was different colours depending on how you looked at it. In the blink of an eye everyone was trying to get their hands on the gem, so Catherine had to calm them down. She let Alex hold the gem first because the was the youngest at 7 years old. Jamal didn't like this so he said "Hey, you've had it for long enough let me have it" to Alex. After Alex denied to give it back, Derek, and Ryan joined it to take the gem. Everyone was fighting for the gem with their mom trying to seperate them. However, when they all got the grand on the gem something happened that would change their lives forever.............
