20. Vengeance in the Flesh

A blonde firefighter steps out of the shower at the firehouse. As he wraps a towel around his waist he feels fatigue pull at almost every muscle in his body

Things have been crazy busy for him for the past week. It happens like this something, for awhile nothing, not even a damn cat stuck in a tree but now he's been on the go almost nonstop with very little sleep.

Ever since one of the other fire station in the area had shut down the blondes firehouse has been picking up the slack and man is it showing.

He closes his eyes for a few minutes, the only minutes he might get as he leans back on his locker.

As soon as he does the thought of his green eyed boyfriend comes to mind along with visions of those gorgeous gems.

A smile forms as he sits there alone in the steamy shower room.

Things have been going great with Izuku. Once the two had confessed love a couple weeks ago they have been pretty much inseparable, one normally crashing at the others apartment even falling asleep at the firehouse together on the nights Katsuki had to work late.

A scowl forms because yes that's how it has been up until this last week when he's hardly gotten to see his medic at all since he's been working so damn much.

He did see Izuku on a call when the greenett had been the medic on the scene two nights ago. He smirks now at the thought because the two had spent more time kissing leaning on the back of the ambulance then actually getting checked out.

He sighs opening scarlet eyes because fuck he misses that nerd and he knows Izuku is missing him too.

Yeah they both know this is all part of the job, both of their jobs actually but that doesn't mean it doesn't suck when it happens.

Sure they've texted and called, face timed for a few minutes but it's not the same and all the blonde can do is hope shit settles down soon.

He reaches inside his locker to get his phone so he can place a quick call to his boyfriend while he has a minute.

It takes only half a ring before a green eyed medic picks up.

" Kacchan?"

Katsuki smiles at the tone and the nickname tho he hears a beat of worry in the greenetts voice.

" Yeah, hi baby. Got a few minutes to talk?"

The greenett lights up at the sound of the blonde even if it's just a few minutes, he'll take whatever he can get.

" Yes, things aren't too busy right now, I was actually taking a minute to eat, so you have perfect timing Mr Perfect" , the greenett says with light laugh making the blonde chuckle.

" Good, and I'm glad you're eating. I just wanted to call you quick before shit goes crazy like it might later"

Izuku nods nipping at a French fry.

" I'm glad you did. I was gonna stop by the firehouse later after my shift just in case you were there"

Katsuki grins tiredly.

" Great minds think alike, I was gonna stop by your place later tonight since it's right by the firehouse, even if it was just to tuck you in and give you a kiss goodnight before I gotta head back out for the night"

The greenett feels his heart ache. He's missed his boyfriend like crazy lately.

" I can't tell you how much I'd love that. I miss you Kacchan" , he says softly the tone making a large firefighter feel like jelly.
