Author's Note: Later content but a snide-bit I thought you would still appreciate.
I woke up surprisingly early. The first out of the whole group, everyone looked so content and peaceful. Somewhere during the night I had managed to convince Travis to let me use his sweatpants. Because his legs are barely covered by his boxers, him and Ava lay tangled together for warmth. Max, Raven, and Carter are laying together too. His feet in Carter's mouth and Raven's side, the two of them with interlocking legs but nothingness else. Haylynn lays next to me still, as I sit up, she rolls onto her side. I stand up and stretch, shirtless with makeup smeared across my face. I drowsily make my way over to the reminencse of the boxedwine. I sit on the edge of the roof, tilting the box towards my mouth to realize only a few drips remain. Disappointed, I watch the sun rise along the horizon. The road by the school is empty, minus one truck. It slowly glides by. Isn't that the same truck as last night? I stare more intently at it.
"I can't believe we're the first ones up" Travis laughs from behind me.
I turned towards him, diverting my attention from the vehicle.
"Yeah, odd isn't it?"
When I turn back, it's already gone.
"Wanna get some breakfast? We should probably hide these empty containers too." He instructs.
I nod and grab the boxed wine from beside me. We stuff them into an air vent and head to the main floor.

I reach, expecting to feel the warm embrace that only Oli provides, but am disappointed when I grasp only air. My eyes flutter open to see where he went. Ava lays wrapped in blankets, Max in between Carter and Raven, while Carter drools on his shoulder. I stand and stretch, deciding to get breakfast- where I assume I will find Oli and Travis.
As I descend down the stairs, I can hear arguing.
"Will you just leave me alone, slut" A distinct voice shouts.
My temper raises without even seeing him.
"Don't be like this." Another equally hated voice begins.
" Just stop it, Lyns. Look- you were a nice fuck, but you're becoming way to clingy. Get over yourself, You ain't nothing special." His voice is like venom.
A whimper escapes her. I make my presence known. They both look at me like I was the last person that they wanted to see.
"Vince, stop being such a fucking ass. You ain't nothing special either." I shock them both.
"Come on Lynsey." I grab her hand and leave, but before doing so I turn back and smile, " Besides, You're not even a 'good fuck'."
We leave him standing there. Lynsey's eyes are watering but she doesn't make a sound.
"Cheer up, there are way better guys than Vince Murcer to cry over." I say in attempt to lower the tension.
She laughs once, "Why did you help me? I thought we were enemies?"
"Well, I hate him more than I do you. Besides, why don't we like each other?" I respond unsurely.
"I can't remember. We've just always been like this right? Different sides of the social status?" She laughs again.
"I mean we are both bitches, you think we'd get along fine" I laugh too.
"I can't believe it took us two years to realize this."
For a minute, we set aside our differences.
_________Oli's Prov________
We dump our trays and head down some halls. We pass by the main office, and I happen to glance inside. The principal is sitting down with a man. We walked pass while my mind processes. I stop, dead-in-my-tracks, a few feet past as my heart beats erratically. I can't help but shake as I barely manage to remain standing. I felt like running or crumpling to the floor, but I take a few steps back instead. I have to force myself to look inside, for fear I might have seen what I think I saw. Travis must be calling out to me but his voice seems distant. To my surprise the principal is sitting alone, what I must have mistaken as a man was a hat and coat on a hanger. A wave of reassurance rushes over me. I must really be going insane. I melt to the floor and begin laughing uncontrollably.
