The Boogieman was a legend used to scare kids into good behavior. This creature has no set appearance. But everyone knows that it is the embodiment of terror. In some countries the boogieman is known as the sacman who carries young children who have misbehaved away in the sack on his back.Babau is a variant of the Boogieman in the mediterranean countries. This is a creature that will harm, eat, or take away children to a dark place and sometimes keep them there for a year. In Germany and scandinavian countries the Boogieman is part of a game. He is referred to as Butzemann. He will carry children away from the dark courers of the closet or under the bed. The game was referred to as "Wer hat Angst vorm schwarzen Mann" (Who is afraid of the black man).But these are just legends you see. Or are they. What if the Boogieman was real? What if he was nothing like the legends? What if the Boogieman went after teens as well as small children? But he doesn't help by fixing the bad behavior of children.
