❛𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 is one way of excaping reality by sending one's mind to wander aimlessly. Sometimes in a sort of Visualization, Fantasy and Rumination. But it all ends in one way, Overthinking.

Bobbing her head forward in inward, rhyming with the beat that the song is currently making, 'Puppy Princess' by Hot Freaks. The song which she kept on replaying for like a hundredth times now.

Right hand is clutching on a Koppe-pan, directing it in her mouth as a some sort of mic as she sang the chorus part of the track. Head still bobbing in repeat like a broken vinyl disc.

"KISS ME, KISS ME WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED!!--"  Yui's moment unfortunately got cutted off as she realized that the song is no longer playing in the backround. Opening her shutted eyes as her head motions to point forward, stiffly.

'This turd.. How dare he!!' the girl thought in her mind. Not daring to said it out loud. Sulking as her sweet "Me time" is now unreachable and out of her grasp now that her friend found her.

A tall figure that belongs to a male's loomed over her, The earphone now in his hand, lifelessly hanging. his left eye twitched in anger. "Didn't I told you to stop skipping classes?"

Vynn, The school's President and ironically, Yui's childhood bestfriend. Piercing almond-shaped amber colored eyes and Natural dirty blonde hair is styled into a disheveled mess. His great academics and mature way of thinking maked him more known and one of the reason why the teachers have taken quite a liking to him, some of it is because of his undeniably dashing looks but Yui knew better than to be bewitched with it as a variety of reasons to not like him pulls her back to sanity.

Showing off her now awfully disfigured bread, "I just got hungry all of a sudden." She excused with a crooked smile. Swaying back and forth on the rooftop's railings where she currently sat in boredom.

"─And on this off-limits Rooftop too? Are you stupid?"

"I'm not stupid, Vinny, you punk! I'm a genius." Her nose sticks in the air, looking both silly and arrogant. "Could a stupid person make this?, Didn't you think so!" shoving the sketch she have finished working on to Vynn's face with a wide knowing grin.

"You're using Albedo's meme line again."

Our very own crackhead of an protagonist, Yui, short for Yuiri, is the school's infamous troublemaker who unfortunately has a mother like friend who always scold her, well, atleast that's what she thinks on her mind every single time. Playful and expressive Downturned-shaped pink colored eyes and her Medium length magenta hair, paired with fringed bangs that reaches down to her cheek bones. Addicted with fictional comics, shows and mostly, A game called Genshin Impact.

"Eat it." Vynn sternly ordered with his left hand now resting on his waist. Waiting for the girl to eat the disgusting bread for him to really believe that she skipped class for a reasonable excuse.

Looking at her friend like she've seen a ghost. Yui stood up from the railings as she sweat profusely. She gulped before motioning to stick the bread's side piece to her mouth in sluggish manner.

Tasting the soggy texture the small part of her tongue touched, "Bleghh-- Fuck! I can't." Throwing the bread forward as she flail in utter disgust, Vynn catched the food just in time with his quick reflex.

"You're wasting food." Vynn facepalmed in disappointment. Walking to the nearest trash can to throw the poor bread in distaste.

"Pshh! It's stale and bland anyways." She waved the issue off, settling herself to the railings where she sat comfortably just a few minutes ago swiftly.

Once he finished with what he's doing, Vynn jogged his way to his friend's location. her earphones still in his hand.

Remembering something, he lightly blushed
"This morning... I was about to tell you something." He reluctantly voiced, fiddling with his fingers as if he's trying to calm himself.

"Hmm?, That better be a good news then?" Yui tilted her head sideways in confusion. Quite surprise to see this type of Vynn to suddenly just pop up infront of her.

"Err- Promise me that you won't ignore me after this, alright?" He awkwardly scratched his neck, bashfully as he speak.

"You're scaring me. What is it?" Sensing something big is about to get spilled, her hand turned cold as it gripped by the metal railings where she sat.

"Listen. I've--"

DING DONG~ DING DONG~ ♪♪

By the time he's about to spill the beans, The school bell ringed loudly behind them. A signal for the class sessions to end and for the students to go home.

Abrumptly standing up, "Holy shit! I forgot mum instructed me to buy eggs on that 40% off sale shop this morning!" She pulled some of her hair in frustration. remembering the 'Golden' errand she should've done this morning.

"Huh?--" He voiced out in confusion, lost by the girl's sudden actions.

Panically snatching her notepad and pens scattered on the dusty ground then messily putting it to her black backpack. Taking her earphones back from her friend's hand which the boy couldn't react to, still in dazed on what's happening.

"Oh, shoot! I'm so sorry, Vinny-cchi!! Come by our house later and hang out with me, Okay?!." Her feet jogged impatiently, An apologizing wide grin plastered in her face.

Yui didn't wait for a respond from her friend and instead sprinted to the rooftop's door hastily. "Catch you later!"

Her hair fluttered around her face as she go down the stair in full speed, blocking some of her eyesight. But Yui payed no attention to it as her mind is still preoccupied with something.

As far as she remembered, The said shop opens at '9:00 am' and closes at '3:30 pm'.

Her eyes horridly peared at her phone's lock screen. '3:17 pm' it reads. Yui sighed in relief as she realize that there's still a small light of hope and not receive a good whooping from her mother.

"Yuiri Itte!! No running in the halls, Missy!" A chubby and grumpy female teacher exclaimed behind her. Raising her fist midair in anger.

"Eep! It's an emergency!! A really important one!." She waved her hand in the air, not looking back as she already recognizes the voice who it came from. Completely done with her teacher's daily rants.

"You--"

Her feet moved in it's fullest, Things like this happens more often than she anticipated. Yui wouldn't complain and trash around her mom like everyone normally would do when they're against something. Her mom deserves better after all.

Rustling from squashed dried leaves lingered around her ears just as soon as she stepped a foot outside the building.

The school ground is as rowdy as ever.

Swiftly turning and twisting to avoid bumping into her schoolmates unintentionally, Some students paved her some space and some ignored and continued their chitchat with a friend.

Meanwhile, On Vynn's side,

"YUI-CCHI!! I─I LOVE YOU, PLEASE GO OUT WITH ME!"

At that, Yuiri's system halted, taking her time to elaborate the sentence.

"..."

"EHHH??!!"
