Caera POV

The strength emanating from the man I once mistook for a girl was nothing short of astonishing. His dominance commanded attention, his presence enveloping those around him. Yet, amidst his icy demeanor, there was a gentle undercurrent, a contradiction that both intrigued and perplexed me. I often found myself pondering the source of his strength. Was it born of a desire for power, or did he harbor loved ones he felt compelled to protect?

I dared to inquire, to peel back the layers of his enigmatic persona, but answers remained elusive. Instead, he issued warnings, a reminder of the danger in delving too deeply into his mysteries. Yet, gradually, he began to unravel in my presence. A smile, fleeting yet genuine, would grace his lips at a well-timed jest or the antics of his steadfast companion.

In the midst of his guarded facade, I found myself drawn to the essence of his being, to the complexities that lay beneath. His cold exterior became a canvas upon which I painted my affection, a testament to the depth of my regard. His swordsmanship, a dance of beauty and precision, spoke of a dedication I could only marvel at, its origins veiled in secrecy and discipline.

As time passed, my heart found solace in the familiarity of his stoicism, in the quiet strength that defined him. And amidst the uncertainties that lay ahead, I found myself longing for the day when I could utter those three simple words, "I love you, Grey."
