Chapter 14

Dear Jennie,

I didn't know why, but ever since I started talking you to Ella, she became really curious about you. Curious means searching your name on the Google, looked for pictures and read articles online. She even copied your choreography on YouTube with your song 'Solo'. She will always tell me that she will be going to become an idol just like you. Sometimes, I joked around pretending to be jealous because I think she is more fond of you than me. But you know what she would always answer?

"Mama Lisa, don't be sad. I love you so much because you're my Mama and you take good care of me. But Jennie Kim is so pretty and my idol. That's why I like her. So she's second, after you."

Even if you haven't met each other, that's the effect you have for Ella. I can't blame her though. You are easy to love. I knew it myself. She will always ask me if I can call you so that she can meet you personally. I just let Ella do what she likes but I think it's not necessary for us to cross paths again.

Jennie, I think this will be the last letter that I'll be making. It's not about forgetting everything but I think it's about time to maybe open myself to someone else. Someone who will accept me and my daughter Ella. Someone that is willing to take risk and will fight for us until the end. Someone that will love us unconditionally.

Thank you so much Jennie. Please know that I am so grateful getting to know someone like you in my life. For the times that we were still together as a trainee, thank you so much for believing and cheering me up to reach our goal even though I kept doubting of myself. For our memories together that led me falling in love with you. You must know how happy I am being with you. Looking back with all those things, I must let you know that I don't hold any grudge or hate against you. I think everything happens for a reason. You didn't know any of it and you just choose things that makes you happy even though I'm not a part of it anymore.

I just hope that everything goes well for you now with your family and career that you build. You are one amazing woman Jennie and I hope that you will continue to wear that gummy smile of yours despite of challenges that you will face along the way. Wishing you all the best in life.
