A large crowd of people gathered in Metropolis near Memorial Station in the evening out of fear. Superman greeted the people there with a grand gesture, raising his hands. Those who cheered him on did so more out of fear, but there were those who were fanatics as well.
Superman: Thank you all for coming, as you know the one we know as Supergirl continues to refuse to join our planet's defense forces. So I've decided to bring her here to see what happens to those who resist me. Some in the crowd spoke out in support of Superman.
Superman turned to where he saw Nightwing and Wonder Woman pushing Supergirl forward. Her hands shackled with Kryptonite to keep her under control and weakened.
Supergirl: Please Kal , don't do this , you're better than this.
Superman: Better than protecting Earth , I won't let something like Brainiac happen again.
Supergirl: You're not a dictator , you're better it's not too late.
Superman: It's too late Kara, I told you, you're either with me or against me. You didn't volunteer to help me, so I'll make that choice for you.
Batman, now mind controlled, picked up the device he had on his head as well and handed it to Superman. Nightwing and WW held Kara to keep her from resisting. She tried her best but couldn't escape.
??? Have you no honor, doing this to her.
Superman: Weigh the words of who you're talking to or you die.
??? I don't think so. You know one thing I hate is oppressing people.
Superman: You've been warned, Nightwing. Teach him a lesson.
Nightwing: You heard him, asshole.
Nightwing readied his electric batons , and as he went to hit his head something hit him from the side and threw him away.
Superman: You don't stand a chance against us you can't do anything , why do you want to fight.
??? Because that's what heroes do.
Superman smirked.
??? Wait, I didn't time that right.
Superman heard something approaching at high speed. As it approached, he saw it was a hammer. He quickly lunged for it to stop it but the hammer quickly found itself in the hand of its master. The attacker was now clad in black armor with a red cloak. He charged at the Kryptonian, spinning his hammer with which he struck him in the head and threw him a few feet away. He quickly ran over to Supergirl to free her.
Supergirl: Who are you ?
??? Um , someone who wants to save you , escape now and talk later.
She nodded and they made their escape.
Wonder Woman: no one is going anywhere.
??? You know what , like normally I wouldn't fight a woman but with you I'll make an exception.
Wonder woman ran at him with her sword and shield , the blow that was aimed at his head was dodged , the hammer struck her shield with a force that surprised her. She, in turn, struck his arm with her sword and knocked him a few feet away with a kick.
Wonder woman: You thought you could beat me , I am the goddess of war.
??? For how much you talk, I was expecting you to hit harder.
He threw a hammer at her which knocked her off her feet. She quickly stood up and ran at him again , lassoed his leg and forcefully threw him a few feet away.
??? I've had enough of this.
He summoned his hammer back , the sky grew dark and thunder could be heard , a strong stream of lightning soaked his hammer , he jumped into the air and as the hammer hit the ground it created a shockwave of energy that threw everyone around him. He quickly walked over to Supergirl and helped her up , she was exhausted after the fight with Superman.
??? We need to get out of here fast , he told her.
Supergirl: OK , let's go.
They quickly flew out of there while they had the chance.
Wonder Woman: quickly walked over to Superman , are you ok Kal ?
Superman: I'm fine Diana, but he , he's an unknown , I want to find him alive , he's going to be dangerous.
Wonder Woman: What do you want to do with him when we find him.
Superman: I want to know who he is and where he came from.
It was evening when they landed on one of the city's buildings.
Supergirl: Thank you for saving me.
??? He chuckled , I couldn't let him enslave you, I had to do something. Let's get out of here, I know a place where we can hide.
She nodded and they flew off into the darkness of the city.
