(A/N: I decided to change how long they knew each other. So that the story makes more sense.)

The day's flew by, and soon we hung out together everyday before school for the next month, and soon enough the two of us would meet in the halls to walk to class together.

I ran from the art building, and up the long hall all the way to my locker. Patiently I waited for Daniel to show up.He turned the corner, and hugged me from behind. "Hey Cor-Bear, you ready to go to lunch?" He asked, his smile spreading across his face. My cheeks tingled as I gave him a shy smile back, and a quick nod.
We walked together to the lunch line, standing behind the herd of kids. All crunched together desperately trying to cut in front of one another. I looked up at his tall frame, observing his muscles. He was a very hot guy, and just the thought of seeing him shirtless makes me flustered. "Hey Corvin, you ok?" His silk smooth voice ran through my ears. I nodded dreamily, a firm hand placed itself on my shoulder. I assumed it was his at first, but he never touched my shoulder so firmly and so filled with awkwardness. Everything after that happened so fast.
"Hey Danfag, is this your little boyfriend?" A gruff voice snapped, as the hand pulled me around to face its owner. I looked into the face of the head football leader, Brydon. "Get your disgusting hand off of me." I hissed, smacking his hand off my shoulder. He laughed obviously amused. "What are you gonna do about it, midget." He teased, placing his elbow on my head. I felt anger burn deep in my stomach. I couldn't think straight, and with rage filing my head, I socked him in the throat. He stumbled back, clutching his throat. "You little runt!" He gasped between coughs. I anxiously glanced over at Daniel. He was looking at me, his dark skin at least two shades lighter. His eyes wide, his iris's like two brown dots in the middle of his eyes. When I turned my attention back to the jock he had recovered from his coughing fit, and was glaring at me. Rage was clear on his face, his eyes blazing. I took a step back, out of reflex. I looked down at his fists, clenched into tight balls. I closed my eyes as he lunged at me. I waited for the impact, waited for him to break my face to smithereens. A loud thump rang across the room and everyone went silent. I opened my eyes to find Daniel standing in front of me. Brydon was on the ground, wiping blood from his busted lip. He stood up slowly, giving Daniel the stink eye. "Awe look at this, a big gay nigger is protecting his boyfriend" Brydon cooed. I felt my blood run cold, did he really just say that? Daniel must've been thinking the same thing because his face scrunched up into a look of surprise, which quickly fled to anger. "How dare you!" He shouted, his voice was different than how it usually was. His tone filled with unbearable fury. I didn't move, I was scarcely breathing as I watched the scene unfold in front of me. Daniel slammed his fist against Brydon's cheek. Brydon stumbled back momentarily dazed by the blow, wasting no time Daniel slammed the jock into the wall. "listen here, you can make fun of me for all the things on this earth. But you have crossed a line! You went too far!"
He snapped. I watched in horror as Brydon shoved Daniel and pinned him against the wall. Brydon wrapped his hands around Daniels throat, depriving him of oxygen. "L-let him go!" I shouted, oh god he's going to kill Daniel! "boys!" Ms.Abele's voice screamed across the forming crowd. She squeezed through the swarm of teenagers and with the help of a couple other teachers pulled Brydon off Daniel "what the hell is going on here!?" She questioned them. Pulling the two out of the lunch room. Daniel took a fleeting glance back at me, one of his eyes swollen twice the size as it normally was. Even then I could clearly see the anxiety shining bright in his eyes.
I couldn't eat my lunch, I didn't even get my lunch. When they had left the lunch room, I felt sick to my stomach. I walked out of the cafeteria, no teacher getting in my way. I felt the cold air gently blowing on my heated skin, but it didn't ease my churning gut. I continued walking, finally sitting down on a bench near the door to inside the school. The sky was spinning, and
I was lightheaded.
Everything in sight was like a swirling as if on a merry-go-round, the spinning getting faster and faster. I closed my eyes, trying to steady my vision. I tasted bile and quickly moved off the bench. I heaved, a nasty taste forming in mouth. I held my clumps of hair out of my sweaty face before hurling out this mornings breakfast all over the sidewalk. I sat for a second taking deep breathes, before vomiting once more. This time getting it all down the front of my shirt. I hastily wiped my mouth, letting out small gasps. When I had finally caught my breath, I tried to stand up straight. My knees felt weak and I knew I wouldn't be able to walk for a little while. I still attempted to do so, which ended up with me falling and leaning against the wall. I leaned my head against the cold brick wall, giving up on walking for the moment. I listened to the soft sound of the wind, a feeling of helplessness coursing through me. I was alone, and dizzy as crap. My throat was sore, and scratchy. A bad taste filled my mouth, like old soapy water and dirty socks. I finally opened my eyes, the sky wasn't spinning as much. I took my first step, my body leaning against the wall for support. Slowly I took another, grasping the wall tighter for security. I followed my pattern of taking a step than pausing than continuing, until I couldn't move any further. I reached out my hand, feeling the cold metal of the school door. My head throbbed, I knew what was going on. Anytime I got nervous, my stomach would squeeze everything out. I shoved against the door, it swung open, making me lose my footing, I lay on the floor recovering from my fall. The door was propped open by my side. I groaned out loud as the taste of vomit filled my mouth again. I had barely enough strength to turn my head and throw up all over the ground by my face. How much did I eat today?surely not this much.
The terrible smell of bile filled my nose, making me gag. I tried to sit up, but to no avail. My body was failing me, and the sky was spinning worse. I let out a faint whimper of defeat. My body was trembling and I gave in. I gave in to all my hurt and pain, I felt tears slip down my cheeks. It was hopeless, I wanted to get help but I couldn't move.I heard faint footsteps run up to me, and I closed my eyes. Is someone going to help me? I had strained myself too much, and all I wanted to do was get the unbearable stench out of my face before I puked anymore. Two strong arms picked me up, and I instinctively leaned against who ever was holding me. I glanced at them, with my eyes drooped half closed. I couldn't make out any of their facial features, my vision was spinning and blurred. I closed my eyes again, listening to them talk to someone else. I gave in to exhaustion which had come over me. I fell dead asleep, or rather blacked out in the strangers arms.
