Tardis High

First Football Game

Matt's P.O.V.

It has been three weeks of hour long practices. But finally we get to play an actual game.

We are facing Homo-Reptilia High. They call themselves The Silurians. Apparently Madame Vastra went there for high school.

Rory and I were in the locker room. Coach Strax said that we were both the best players on the team.

I put on my blue soccer jersey with the word TARDIS across the chest and the number eleven on the back.

"Are you ready Matt?" Rory asked me.

"Yeah I can't wait." I said to him.

"Alright girls get out there and destroy the enemy for the glory of TARDIS High!" Coach Strax said and then we all ran out onto the field.

I saw The Silurians wearing their green jerseys. And their goalie wearing a purple jersey.

Our team wore blue jerseys and our goalie wears a white jersey. We are The Doctors from TARDIS High.

William, our team caption, had us huddle up.

"Alright team, let's do this." He said.

"Yeah we will win." Patrick said.

"Ok let's go." William said and we broke up.

We entered our positions. I was prepared to win.

The first half of the game we were in the lead by 2 points but by the second half Homo-Reptilia had scored 2 points as well. So now we are tied.

Peter, who was on our team, retrieved the ball and dribbled it down the field. But a Silurian took it from him.

And then he shot at our goal but our goalie, Tom, quickly grabbed it.

Time was running out. We need to score quickly.

Then Tom punted the ball and it went soared across the field. I ran to it and retrieved the ball.

Then I ran down the field, quickly dodging my opponents, I sprinted to the goal.

I saw the Silurian goalie in his purple jersey. I kicked the ball as hard as I could. And the ball went into the goal. At that moment the timer stopped.

We all celebrated. Everyone came over to me and congratulated me, gave me high-fives and patted my back.

"That was amazing mate!" Rory said as he ran up to me.

"Haha yeah!" I said and we high-fived.

Then we all ran back into the locker room.

"Matt that last play was awesome!" Paul said to me as he walked by me.

"Yeah you saved us!" Sylvester told me as he was at his locker.

I opened my locker at took my water bottle out of my bag.

"Hey Matt Amy said she would meet us outside the stadium." Rory told me.

"Alright let's go." I said as I slung my football bag over my shoulder and Rory did the same.

We exited the locker room, still in our football gear, and then went outside the stadium.

We saw Amy and then we walked up to her.

"Hey you guys were awesome!" Amy said when she saw us.

"Thanks." Rory said as they hugged.

"And Matt I didn't know you could play that well." She said to me.

"Well I have been playing for a while." I said to her.

"We should celebrate." Amy said.

"Anyone fancy frozen yogurt?" I asked them.

"Yes let's go." Amy said and then grabbed both of our hands and pulled us to her car.

David's P.O.V.

I was on my now fixed laptop watching YouTube videos. You know when your just trying to look up one quick video and then the next thing you know you watching a video about how to color with markers correctly. Yeah that happened to me. Well to be honest I was pretty bored.

Then I got an amazing idea.

I called Rose.

"Hey David!" I heard Rose say when she answered.

"Hey Rose meet me at the high school in ten minutes." I told her and then I hung up.

I stood at the front of the school waiting for Rose. Eventually I saw her pulling up in her car.

I waved to her when she exited her car.

"Ok why are we here?" Rose asked.

"You'll see." I said.

Then she followed me to the entrance of the gym. The janitors never locked it.

We left the cold night air and into the air conditioned gym. As we walked in I switched on the light switches.

"Are we allowed to do this?" Rose asked me.

"I don't think so." I said and she laughed.

I loved her. Ever since we shared a kiss at Jack's party we've been inseparable.

She looked at me. "So why are we really here?"

"Well I just figured since we've been hanging out a lot I just thought that..."

"What?" She asked.

"Well...do you want to be my girlfriend?" I asked.

And then she put on a big smile and then kissed me. After about three seconds we broke.

"Yes." She said. And then I smiled and kissed her.

Matt's P.O.V.

I ate my frozen yogurt as we were celebrating Rory and I's first win.

"No but seriously Matt those last few moments of the game were incredible." Amy told me.

"Yeah you saved TARDIS." Rory said.

I smiled. I've always liked football. I played after my brothers quit.

"I'd say that eleven is your lucky number." Amy said.

"Yeah the eleventh doctor of TARDIS." Rory said.

I liked the sound of that. The eleventh doctor. It sounded like some epic character in a movie.

"The eleventh doctor." I repeated.

"It fits you." Amy said.

I took another bit as I smiled.
