(Author's pov)

Ray winced, staggering, as he jumped off his bed in a hurry.

"Ouch" he groaned as he steadied himself and clutched his right side, getting into the shower.

It was seven right now, if he left in half an hour, he would probably reach the interview before it was his turn.

He quickly turned the knob of the shower, switching the temperature to cold. He took in a sharp breath as he tried to erase the memories of the last night.

That man, was his name Sky?

Well, he wasn't going to meet him again anyways.

But, why was he not able to forget him? His touch, his alluring scent...

How could I have been so desperate, he shuddered, recalling the way he literally asked the man to sleep with him after a few shots.

Thank god he didn't actually do it!

But he was free now, he was free to do what he wanted. If he wanted to be a whore, he would be one.

His life was completely in his hands now.

He turned off the water and wrapped his towel around his waist. Slicking back his wet black hair, he examined himself slowly in the mirror, his black eyes moving down from his jawline, to his chest, onto his torso, scanning each and every inch.

His white milky skin remained unmarked only as far as his chest, after that, his scars and wounds marked his entire torso, just like paints that cover a canvas.

His eyes finally stopped at a deep cut that had broken open on his right upper abdomen.

He placed his hand on the bleeding cut, and slowly caressed the wound, wincing ever so slightly as it stung.

It doesn't matter now, its all in the past.

Today, I am going to start a new chapter of my life.

He told himself.

As the cab pulled over in front of the huge building, I finally acknowledged how clammy my hands had become.

I quickly paid for the ride and hopped out, slipping my hands through the straps of his my bag.

Was I doing the right thing? What if Zelan-

No!

I took a deep breath and focused my thoughts on the building in front of me.

I can do this!

As I stepped through the revolving door into the huge building, a wave of cold air-conditioned air greeted me, instantly calming my jittery nerves.

As I looked around, my eyes widened in amazement. The interior was simply....MAGNIFICENT!

The walls and the ceiling was a brilliant white, the floor covered with light beige tiles and the lights were yellow, giving the whole reception desk, a modern aura that was just...Modern?

On the left of the reception desk was a huge window, surrounded by yellow lights in-built into the wall.

I looked around to see if I was the only one admiring the architecture but my eyes fell on a huge golden wall clock that showed ten minutes to nine.

Oh fuck! I completely forgot about the interview!

I quickly walked to the front desk and called out a young receptionist.
