Portgas D. Ace X Reader - The boy from the church

Introduction

Hello guys and thank you for stopping by to read my work! I will give you here a bit of information regarding my book.

- Pronouns:

First of all, this is a classic x fem! reader story. The reader will use the pronouns she/her.

- Triggers and how they affect the plot: (edited)

Some triggers in my book include heavy drinking (alcoholism), some shootings, but not mass shootings (because fuck those), and some mentions of mental breakdowns / panic attacks. I should also mention that there will be a few curse words, but I tried not to overuse them. My characters are going through tough times, and while it's important for the overall plot, some descriptions could make some of you uncomfortable, and I want to have said this from the start.

- Religion:

Just like I said in the story's description, this book doesn't revolve around religion, in fact, it's based off the love story between the two main characters, and while it's hard to see it in the first few chapters, I promise it's gonna make sense in the future. I tried not to give details of the church practices and not to use the term 'God', because I know some of you don't wish to be involved in religious stuff. However, I gave a brief description of how the church and what the practices look like, based on my experiences when I was young (because now I don't go to church as much as then), and I want to apologize if this offends anyone. I wrote it just to give it a bit of a background, but as I said in the bio, it can be skippable since it's just for a few lines. Also, I don't know if I got the description of the 'praying ritual' right, and I'm aware that every cult does it in a different way. Again, if my writing makes you uncomfortable, and if you may want to stop reading, this was not my intention whatsoever. 

- Writing style and ideas:

I am aware of the language and grammar mistakes, since English is my second language. There are also a few good characters in this story who are enemies in the original One Piece plot, and vice versa, so you have to read in order to find out what their true intentions are. I agree that my work has not perfect pacing, and while some of the lines may seem like filler or really cringe cliches, keep in mind that this is one of my first important books and I'm still in the process of finding my writing style. I genuinely wish you could give it a try despite the warnings that I gave and that this introduction didn't stop you from checking out my work!!

- Extra: 

I will mark some of the 'hotter' chapters with a warning at the beginning, because I said in the description that there will be no mature content. And it's true, there will be no smut or any stuff like that, other than a few detailed making out sessions. Also, I did not include A/N's or my personal opinions at the beginning or at the end of the chapters, because I don't want my conditions to get in the way of writing, or in enjoying a good chapter. And for the few people that want to know my inspiration for the book: it's the Orthodox Christianity, since I live in Eastern Europe, Romania, and that's like the most common religion out here, but I remade everything so that anyone could make sense of what I wrote, no matter their beliefs. And again, all the characters from this story belong to Oda and I do not claim to own any of them!
