Rosey's P.O.V

I ran. I don't know where I was going but I wanted to get out of this world. Jacobi ran after me. I ran faster but I was too weak, I felt like my legs were turning to jelly and my stomach had cramps. As I ran faster I felt as if my bones were cracking one by one. After a moment everything went black.

Jacobi's P.O.V

I watched her as she lyed lifeless on my bed. I had brought her back before Noland could get to her. She looked lifeless and it scared me. I could feel her temperature drop.

"Rosey?" I called out to her. And yet no response. I called her again and shook her but she wasn't waking up. My eyes stung with unshered tears. Worst possible kinds of ideas ran through my head. Was she going to die? I had to turn her but then I would have to risk her soul. And all those blood thirst and all the pain she would have to go through if I did turn her . I couldn't do that to her.

It has been two days watching her hoping she would wake up. As long as her heart still beats I'll be here waiting for her to wake up.
In all this I still couldn't forget what her Roland said to me before he died. His exact word kept repeating themselves in my head:

I won't be alive for any longer so I need you to do me a huge favor. You are the only person she has ever trusted,you are her mate so I'll need you to protect her. You need to find out what she is. She is much more powerful than she knows and her father knows that too. And he will do anything to help himself and cure his sickness but to do that he will need her soul as a sacrifice. Her life is in your hands. Never leave her side she belongs to you now. I will give her everything. Take her.

I snapped out of my thoughts as I saw her fingers move.
"Rosey?" I called out to her. She groaned. She pulled her hands up to block her ears but I couldn't hear any noise. She screamed and screamed the second time then sat up. Holding her ears like she was gonna rip them off.
"Hey Rosey?" I called to her once again. "Are you okay?" I asked. She shook her head 'no'. I held her and sat next to her on the bed.
"Okay just try to relax I know it might painful but it might help okay?" I assured. She tried to but her pain just got worse. She kept shaking her head 'No'. She let out a mortifying scream.

I held her tight and allowed her to sob into my chest. She sobbed until she fell back to sleep. Now I was really worried. If seeing her cry wasn't enough I didn't know what to do next. Her tiny hands rapped around my waist as if I would slip away. I ran my fingers through her hair and watched her fall asleep.

Rosey's P.O.V

They were so loud and they were all talking at the same time. Who? I had no idea. After a few sobs I tried to relax as Jacobi had told me and the voices quieted down. Jacobi couldn't hear anything so I guess they were all in my head. With these many voices I couldn't focus on anything else. It's like my mind was so occupied that it took such a long time to get actual words out. So I couldn't speak!

I lyed awake trying to hear what these whispers were actually saying . What was going on? I looked to my side only to meet wild citrine eyes gazing down at me filled with worry and all I could do was give him a soft smile."Don't worry I'll figure everything out and things will go back to how they were at first okay, I promise. "He spoke softly. I buried my head on his chest and sobed lightly. "It's gonna be okay, I promise " he kept whispering those words into my ears until the darkness engulfed me.
