You stepped onto the hardwood flooring, passing through the door of your apartment. You sighed as you sat you stuff down on the kitchen counter. You made your way to the couch and plopped down with another sigh of relief. You leaned your head back and closed your eyes hoping to maybe catch a little nap. Yeah maybe your room was only a few feet away, but after you sat down there was no getting back up.

After a few minutes, you were nearly there. Your mind fading in and out of sleep. That was until you heard a slight cough. You jolted up, out of your comfy spot. You looked around you. 'what the hell was that?' you thought heart still beating quickly. "apologies for waking you darling." You snapped your head towards the calming voice. "Vi?.." She smiled at you, as she leaned on the hallway frame that led to your room. "How long have you been here?" You questioned. "Quite awhile. It's pretty amazing how you can manage to be hot even when you sleep." She smirked. 'uh,' Your face flushed. "Anyways, why are here?" You huffed, relaxing once again. "Ohh, no reason, I just wanted to see my beautiful cupcake. Is that a problem?" She said as she walked over and sat next to you, making the soft couch sink. "I mean you're here so." You finished.

You heard her chuckle a little. You smiled. "Long day hmm?" She asked. "Yeah, everything and everyone is just.." You breathed for a moment. "tiring." You opened you eyes again to stare at the ceiling, to think. "But of course, you can never get tired of me." she hummed. She looked at you, as you turned your head to look at her. You both started smiling, which then turned into laughter. "No, I'll never be tired of you Vi." She began smiling, ear from ear. You both sat there for awhile. Staring, admiring each others features, just enjoying each others company. Eventually, you started to get sleepy again. Your eyes slowly beginning to close. "It's clear you're tired darling, so how about I carry you to your room.." She didn't skip a beat nor let you respond, before she stood up and picked you up. You blinked and before you knew it she was laying you down on the soft mattress.

She took your shoes, and your jacket off for you. After she began spreading the blanket over you evenly, all with a smile on her face. You could see her walk around the bed to the other side, and gently slide in next to you. "Here, come closer." she said as she pulled you into her chest. You could hear her soft breathing. The pattern of her heart, it was making you more sleepy than you already were. She started softly rubbing you back, making swirls, and little drawings. Until you finally fell asleep.

Vi sighed and smiled. She planted a peck on your forehead. "I love you darling". She said as she closed her eyes and began trying to get to sleep herself.
