“What did you do.” HyunJin said as soon as he stepped inside Han’s apartment.
“Look. It was not my plan to like that kiss with MinHo that much. But, hey, we were both slightly drunk and I suggested: ‘what if we kiss?’ and MinHo didn’t even give me a warning before kissing me! Like, it was just a peck, and we parted soon and giggled and all that shit, but-”
HyunJin covered his mouth.
“HOLD ON, you- he likes you!”“No!” Han’s face flushed in crimson. “We saw his ex at the party, he wanted to make him jealous. And we were drunk.”
“In a scale of tipsy to wasted-”
JiSung didn’t let him finish.
“Remember that time you drank to forget about the embarrassment that was that-”
“Right, I didn’t really want to remember that, but okay. So you were not slightly drunk, yet not wasted. You remember everything?”
He remembered his legs were kinda wobbly and MinHo had to help him stay up, while both laughed until their lungs hurt. He remembers them being close, and Han looking over to MinHo’s ex. He was staring at them, and JiSung let out a small smug smile while he wrapped his arms around MinHo. His stomach being invaded by butterflies when they kissed again and yes, he blamed the damn drinks he had earlier at the party, not the insufferable crush he’s had on MinHo since forever.
Next morning he was not only regretting the large amount of alcohol but also the terrible idea to kiss MinHo. No, it was not his plan to like the kiss so much, to want more of it, to taste MinHo’s lips again and again! His plan was simple: have the opportunity to kiss MinHo once in his life. Just once, out of curiosity. But he wasn’t expecting that it would become an addiction so soon.
So he told HyunJin everything he could remember, from them going to Han’s apartment and all the kisses he could remember.
“I told you helping him with this ex situation was a terrible idea,” HyunJin mumbled, scratching his head. He handed JiSung some pills to help him with the headache before it got worse. “But did you listen?” He sighed and before JiSung could answer he added: “No, you didn’t. Why is it that you never listen to me?”
“Because you have worse ideas than I do. Remember that time when you tried to serenade Seun-”
“Shhhhhh… We don’t have to remember that day. But because of such experiences I can confidently say i have more experience than you, you stupid. Do as I say, not as I do.”
It was JiSung’s turn to sigh, checking his phone again.
“He’s not answering. Should I worry?”
“He must be busy, JiSungie,” HyunJin adds, rolling his eyes. “Stop worrying too much, you’re practically summoning your anxiety by checking your phone every five seconds.”
Han narrowed his gaze.
“Are you my therapist now or what? And by the way, that’s not how anxiety works, you brainless stupid ferret.”
“Sheesh, I know, it was supposed to be a joke.” He raised his hands in front of his chest in a defensive mode, making that face he always did, the one that made him look like he was offended as hell when he was actually just being dramatic. Noticing JiSung wasn’t laughing, he rolled his eyes again and let out a deep breath. “Okay, sorry, not very funny, but you could at least appreciate my efforts here!”
