YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME

Lee Na-yeon felt horrible.

As she walked through the halls of Hyosan High School, where she could hear the snarls of zombies as they rushed up the stairs, she cried. She was sobbing, wishing that Kang Yu-Jin was still alive. She felt entirely responsible for her death, even if she didn't cause it directly. She wanted to see those cat eyes again, the ones that always drove her insane in the best way possible. 

As she walked, she pulled out the switchblade Kang Yu-Jin had given her, staring at it as more tears fell from her eyes.

She was missing the girl she had once hated.

It was poetic really.

She began to walk a little bit faster when the zombies finally reached the floor she was on. Na-yeon turned around to the horde chasing her, and she swore she saw Yu-Jin running among them. She felt someone grab her arm and run with her. It felt like the Kang girl but when she turned, it was only Ms Park, who had followed her out after the others shunned her out.

Yu-Jin's friends had been the first to do so, followed by Ji-min and the others. Shin Hee-Jin looked like she was about to stab her, and honestly, Na-yeon would have let her. She deserved all of it. 

"Run, Na-yeon!" 

Her legs were sore from running and Ms Park suddenly tugged her towards a room, pushing her inside and shutting the door. Na-yeon stumbled and turned, eyes widening in horror as she watched Ms Park hold the door shut from the outside. The zombies were devouring her, biting into her neck.

"Live, Na-yeon. Live!"

Lee Na-yeon sat there and cried, not noticing the fact that her teacher didn't turn into one of them, instead she grabbed a bunch of the zombies and pried them away from the door, falling down the stairs as she did so. Na-yeon mustered the energy to bring herself to her feet, stumbling into the storage room of the room she was in and locking the door behind her. She fell again, this time she pulled her knees to her chest, and cried for the girl she had lost.

Now, let's just say Yoon Gwi-nam was deeply regretting bringing his cousin to this hellhole of a school. Gwi-nam pushed the other boy out, letting the zombies take him as he picked Leo up into his arms. Leo screamed as the girl he had pushed out earlier, who was now a zombie, snarled at them, charging towards them. Gwi-nam kicked her back, "Leo, yah, climb over the table, go!" He let the young boy run over the table and he followed, jumping over. Leo pushed a long piece of metal towards Gwi-nam and together, they shoved it into their old hiding place, keeping the zombie girl pinned underneath.
