I'm running through the woods. My bare feet are pattering against the cold soil.
Branches hanging low scraped my skin like nails, but I kept running.
I didn't dare look back.
I kept running until I got to a warehouse. The same warehouse I ran from.
In front of the glass doors laid a body. The light snowflakes falling made me shiver and the shivering got worse when I realized I was holding the body close with tears streaming down my face.
"Damon!"
I bolted up in bed and heard thumping coming towards me. I scooted closer to the wall, the darkness blinding me. "Raven, Raven, it's me. Are you okay?" A familiar voice was near and a familiar feeling of escaping tears started.
Damon's hand gripped mine and his other turned on the lamp. The brightness was blinding but I didn't show it. "Raven, are you okay?" I nodded and gently pushed his hand back and laid down.
Damon sighed and turned off the lamp. All of a sudden, the bed dipped and my eyes went wide. "Shut up. Don't tell anyone about this." I just nodded and I instantly felt warmer than I was before.

The annoying screech of my alarm woke me from a stereotypical dream.
Great.
I groaned before hitting the button. I sat up and remembered last night. I looked at the empty spot in my bed and got up. 'Went to go meet someone- be back around late. -D'
Around late?
What does that even mean?
Maybe his classes are late. I shrugged before putting on my clothes and brushing my hair to get ready. I grabbed my bag and headed to my class.

I sat down in a non-noticeable spot and got my notebook and pen out. I heard a chair scoot back and then forth. I looked to my right to see a boy. He was attractive- not as attractive as Damon-
Stop, Raven.
I put on a fake smile and examined him. He has dirty blonde hair and brown eyes with glasses. He held out his hand and I took it in mine and shook. "I'm Xander. You are-"
"Raven."
"I was going to say beautiful, but Raven's a nice name," I chuckled and he laughed as well. "I like cheesy pick up lines, got any?"
I laugh before calming down to say something. "Okay, I got one," I look at him with a flirtatious face. "If you were a booger...I'd pick you first." He laughed and it made me laugh along.
"What a classic, what a classic. Okay okay. Your hand looks heavy, need me to hold it for you?" I burst out laughing and he joins me.
"So, who's your roommate, Raven?" I gathered myself and slowed down on my laughter.
"Damon Taylor. He's an ass," he held up a finger and looked at me with seriousness.
"Wai-wai-wait," he narrowed his eyes and pointed at me. "You're rooming with Damon James Taylor?" I arched my eyebrow and nodded. He muttered something under his breath as the professor entered the room.
I was barely able to hear what he said and it made me mentally gasp.
"Lucky."
