The week went by very quickly and Damon never spoke a word to me. I'm not bothered by it, he doesn't talk that much anyway. Ali and Brady spent more time together and so did all the other couples. So, I was alone in my thoughts and activities. I decided to call up Tom.
"This is Tom Meyers, the sexy beast of a man. How may I help the girl with the obsessive boyfriend?"
"Yeah, yeah. Wanna go to the movies later?"
"Sounds good. What are we gonna see this time? Green Inferno? Sinister 2?"
"First off, I don't want to see Green Inferno just for the fact that it terrifies me. And two, I've already seen Sinister 2 and got nauseous so...no." I laughed and heard Tom chuckle on the other end.
"What about Goosebumps?" I could feel him wriggling his eyebrows on the other end as the words came out of his mouth.
"Yeah, sounds good. How does around 6 sound for movie time?"
"Gouda cheese. Be sure to look sharp!" He started to laugh and it caused me to chuckle as well.
"Ha. Ha. Very funny, Tom. I'll see you around 6. Bye." I hung up the phone and got my stuff together to go meet Ali at the dining hall. On my way there, someone bumped into me.
"Watch it!"
I turn around to see none other than Claire. I widened my eyes and she didn't recognize me. "Uhm, yeah. S-sorry."
I sped walked to the hall and thankfully saw Ali first thing. "You are never going to guess-" I slid into the seat next to her swiftly, "-who I ran into. Literally."
"Did you run into Damon's girlfriend?" She gaped her mouth dramatically and I shook my head.
"Worse. Claire. I mean, I don't think she recognizes me, but what if she plans to murder me in my sleep?" Ali shook her head in disapproval. I sighed and took a bite of the bagel she had in front of her.
"Hey!" She pulled her bagel towards her and glared. "Where are going dressed like that?" I looked down and was wearing jeans with a breakfast club shirt.
"I'm going on a date with my friend Tom. It's no big dea-" she put her finger on my mouth and looked me in the eye.
"If you're going on a date- you have to look good." I was going to question her about why I looked 'bad', but she stood up and shoved whatever was left of her bagel in her mouth and started walking to the room. Once I unlocked the door, Ali walked straight to the closet.
I sighed and sat on the bed.

In the end, Ali handed me a sweater with white crosses on it and light high-waist skinny jeans. I groaned as she also brought out a pair of 6 inch heels I never wear. "No. No way am I wearing those. Did I already mention all we're doing is seeing movie?"
"Yes. One thousand times. Please? For me?" She looked at me with puppy eyes and I glared back. Not gonna lie, I thought about it for a second. A second. Yeah, no.
"Nope. Not even for you," I went to my closet and took out my black Vans. I slipped them on and walked out. "Okay, Ali-cat. I'm going to leave in about five minutes so if you have anything to say. Say it now," she looked at me as if she were thinking.
"You look like an uncooked Ramen noodle," I laughed and patted her head as she laughed along. We eventually went to the dining hall and I said a quick greeting to the rest of the group before turning to leave. My butt cheek vibrated and I pulled out my phone.
Hey, Raven. Sexy beast here. Something came up and I have to cancel- can we do it some other time?
I started to reply when I felt like someone was following me. I stopped walking and turned around. Why does he show up at the worst times? "What do you want, Damon?" He walked more and was inches away from me.
