How catastrophic, a time of murders and  desperate cries, wondering harlots and bickering adults, orphaned children escaping their homes and flirting frenchmen looming the streets, narcissistic idols and wannabe influencers, even the bakery cannot sell its pastaries. Its all a difficult for everyone, everyone except a purrrrfect fluffy cat having a stroll down the evenly patterend streets of France.

The soft tap of little paws hitting the pavement, thick fluffy fur, black as midnight with a few white stripes perfectly wrapping around its small body, bouncing with every step. Its the same as everyday for the beloved stray kitty with its unique white fur around its stern and stunning eyes, almost as it had white eyeliner. With such a nice face and beautiful emerald green eyes, who could resist the cuteness of such a fluffy little thing!...except dog lovers and the jealous glare of those wishing demise on the easy life of a cat. This well known cat, the friendly feline that they call Beau. They call him Beau as he is considered quite the handsome feline, such silky fur and clear patternings, his paws as pink as cotton candy except his right paw, however it only had black splodges in a pattern of a rose which had only added to his beauty. Beau knew everyone had considered his life easy, he got fed often, had received many pets and lots of affections from many around France, raised and born there or not. It was never the easy life being a cat, having affection and free food was merely easy for Beau, he had to find shelter, hide from other cats as he was a runt, being smaller than the other local cats and an easy target. It was hard to find shelter, especially during cold and wet weather. He often wished to be like those 'humans', he thought they had it easy and often slept looking up towards the sky, wishing only to be reborn human. Little did he know, his wish would soon become true.

Thunder, rain, wind, a flash of light, the booming skies...it repeated and repeated, he was running for his life, through the flooded streets, head meerly centimetres above the water, hearing screams and smelling a faint smell of blood wafting through the air, such weather and events could get worse until, Beau found this slightly opened door. Nothing was normal it was on a lifted area but right in the middle of a brick wall, the slightly ajar door had lured him close as he felt the soft breeze of warm air, and a gentle blue light coming from inside. He decided to go inside and saw a wonderful lady, she was wearing a long blue cloak, long locks of blond hair but an arua as still as the calm ocean. Upon hearing the soft pittar patter of small steps on the wooden floor she quickly turned, looking straight into Beaus beautiful emerald eyes. Beau on the other hand froze, her eyes were as blue as diamonds but she glared at him with almost an intent to kill. The glare was quickly cut off after a soft smile had spread across her face, she elegantly made her way across the room, her dress almost touching the floor softly swayed and moved with her, it was almost as if she was floating. She had crouched down in front of the cat and showed him a sweet smile accompanied by a look of despair and pain. "My you look like my beloved damien" she chuckled, then lifted the cat, only getting a little dry "meow" from the lost feline. She stood tall and proudly, "dont worry little one...Beau, I believe? I shall grant your wish". All of a sudden a loud rusty shudder of iron bars was heard, upon looking the feline saw an old rusty cage with the fairy smell of blood and urine. Then everything spun, he was thrown harshly into the cage, breaking his right arm as he cried out in pain. He heard a giggle along with the sound of a plate being placed, he saw a shallow plate of milk followed by the cage door being closed. The lady squatted, she had a toothy grin and was watching him intensely, not blinking nor batting an eye. He knew what to do, walking over to the milk with a limp, he drank it quickly however he was suddenly stopped when everything went black.
