I believe the universe is not one not uni, but is a multiverse . I believe our universe is just one of the trillions
of other universes to make multiverse. When you think of the universe you think of galaxies. in one universe there are billions of galaxies, and inside those galaxies are billions of stars. Orbiting those stars are planets, and in some cases on those planets are life. The chances of planets harboring complex and simple life forms are very minuscule, because the planets need to meet certain standard for life to develop. For example, a planet needs to be in the habitual zone. The habitual zone is simply the zone at which water can remain a liquid. Other examples are that planets must have some type of gas to be breathed by organisms, the planet must have an atmosphere to protect from the suns radiation and solar flares, the planet must have just the right amount of gravity, and if the complex life form lives in the sea there must be a moon. There must be a moon because the moons gravity causes waves on the planets waters , thus many organisms that live in the ocean need this constant motion to get enough oxygen. Even though the chances of a planet harboring life are so low, there could be billions of life forms all on other planets and even in different galaxies because the multiverse is infinite. When most people hear extraterrestrial they think of short skinny beings with large almond rap around eyes and big heads with gray or green bodies. But life on other planets could be as small as a single cell or as complex as humans. A single cell is far more complex than any of the technology we have ever made on earth. Life on another planet could look like a fish , a reptile, a feline ect...... One thing is known for sure, the life on the planet will evolve and adapt to its environment , just like we humans did.
