George lay with his head hanging off the foot of Dream's bed. His grey and white bedsheets sit untidily underneath him. George's dark, curly brown hair falls and dangles towards the floor- exposing his forehead, which would otherwise remain covered.
He's incredibly bored, he thinks. Like seriously, shouldn't Dream be done editing that stupid video by now? And, he asks exactly that.
"Dream," he dragged out. "Aren't you done by now?"
George sat up and turned around to face Dream, who was sitting across the room from him. George crossed his legs on the bed and rested his elbow on his thigh- so he's then able to rest his face in his palm.Dream swivelled around in his chair. So he could face George, he let out a small laugh at the sight of the shorter one of the two- sitting cross-legged on his bed. Like a child who wanted to go to the park.
"No, George. I told everybody I'd have this video up 'soon.' And it's been a week- they're waiting." George smiled at that, finding it amusing how their fans hated the word 'soon.'
"Plus, you do have a video of your own. You could use this time to be editing that-"
"No- What Dream you said you were going to do that one, remember." George interrupted, standing up and walking towards Dream. Who scoffed and stood up too.George looked up at Dream. A hint of colour could be seen on his cheeks if you looked close enough. Since when was he this damn tall? George knew he was super tall. Obviously- they'd lived together long enough, but he could've sworn he grew over the last hour. George stepped back and pretended to be occupied with Dream's plain walls. Hoping he wouldn't notice what simply being close did to him.
"Okay fine, how about I take a break then? Go somewhere. I don't know." Dream suggested while moving his hands around to signify his unsureness. George found it quite endearing whenever Dream did that, almost like he spoke more with his hands than his mouth. (And he talked a lot.)
George looked as if he was thinking for a second. Before, his face lit up slightly.
"McDonald's? You can never go wrong with McDonald's!" Dream shook his head and let out a wheezy laugh.
"God- No, George!" He let out another wheeze, interrupting his sentence. "I think we've eaten enough of that to last a lifetime."That caused George to scoff and roll his eyes. He sat back on the bed with a huff, defeated. It's not like Dream has anything better in mind, anyway.
"Okay, what great idea do you have then?" George questioned, motioning his hand towards Dream, raising an eyebrow.Dream thought for a few seconds before deciding on- "CVS? It's like, a few blocks away. Pretty sure it's twenty-four hours too."
A CVS? He can't be serious. George couldn't understand if Dream was even if his right mind. CVS over McDonald's?
George's reluctance seemed to show on his face because Dream's smile dropped, and he scoffed.
"Oh, come on now. It's better than McDonald's. Plus, I want to get out of the house anyway." Dream sat down next to George on the bed but left some space between them.George groaned and plopped back onto the bed, spreading his arms out; beside him. Dream laughed at him, laughing harder when George mocked his infamous "Oh, come on now."
"Sure, whatever, but you're buying me some crisps- chips. Whatever and a drink." The mix-up only causes Dream to laugh even more but agree, nevertheless. George jokingly punched Dream for it, and they light-heartedly bickered as the two of them made their way to Dream's BMW.

Dream's car was a dark blue with a slick, black interior. The car looks almost like it should be in races. Not useless trips to CVS at half seven at night.
George turned on the heated seats and sighed as the cold leather started to warm up.Dream and George buckled up. George pulled down the mirror to quickly tame his ruffled hair.
"When are you going to teach me to drive, by the way?" He asked, looking over to dream as he closed the mirror and pushed it back up."Um... When you've edited that dumb video, George." Dream bit back a laugh as he started to reverse out of the driveway. He put his hand on the back of George's headrest, biting his lip in concentration.
George totally didn't take a mental note of how his lip stretched between his perfect teeth or how large his hand was; Compared to the headrest. Nope, he didn't.

Dream's iPhone was connected to the car's Bluetooth and had been playing songs from Dream's playlist. Softly in the background of their conversations, which consisted of occasional banter and plans for a later date.
Eventually, his playlist ended. A recommended playlist started to play, then. Ironically, one of those songs was 'Heatwaves.'
George sat up straight, face slightly red, but nobody could tell if that was from how much he was laughing at the whole situation or the song itself. Dream fumbled with the stereo, trying to turn Heatwaves down since he couldn't grab his phone while driving. George's face, increasingly growing red.
"Oh my god!" George laughed and could barely get his words out. "Y-you should've seen your face!" He started to mimic how Dream reacted. "Like this!" He pretended to panic and also turn down the volume.
"Just shut up!" Dream said with no malice in his words. "I'm trying to watch the road. Idiot." Dream's voice softened slightly on 'idiot.' He looked over to George. His lips upturned at the sight of him.
George had the back of his hand covering his mouth as he laughed at Dream. He was sliding down his seat a little too.
After sitting up properly and calming down, George nudged Dream's arm.
"That was totally in your playlist." He accused. Dreams eyebrows pulled together, and he frowned."What? No, it wasn't! and- And even if it was, why would it matter- it's only a song." Dream tried. But George wasn't buying it.
Dream and George sat in comfortable silence after their conversations had died down. George tried his best, not to stare at his best friend's side profile as he drove. Not that he was even trying to, he just wanted to look out the window. Dream's flawlessly sculpted face just happened to be there
Dream seemed to notice George look over at him one too many times because he started to laugh. George flushed completely.
"What are you staring at? Take a picture, it'll last longer!" Dream wheezed at George sputtering an excuse."What? Why would I want to look at you? I- was looking out of the window, you idiot. They were right about your ego, huh." George mumbled the last part, referring to the countless times friends and fans had told Dream about his seemingly large ego.
"Oh, come on. George! Admit it." He didn't. He would rather die, he thought to himself.

Dream pulled into the CVS parking lot and parked the car. Not far from the entrance.
After Dream got out of the car, he went over to George's side. Because that's what the passenger side had become, George's side. With Sapnap having his own car and George frequently getting rides from Dream. The seat may as well have his name engraved.
"You coming in or staying in the car?" Dream asked, after opening the car door and leaning his arm over the top of it.
"Um..." George pulled his phone out of the cup holder and read the time from the lock screen. It read '19:45.' "I'll come in." He replied, pocketing his phone and stealing a chewing gum piece from the car before standing up, out of the car.
Dream nodded then smiled down at him. Stepping out of the way for George. He returned the smile and shut the car door.
Dream started to walk ahead, leaving George to catch up. When they got to the entrance, Dream stopped walking and turned around. George raised an eyebrow- as if to question why he stopped walking.
"After you," Dream joked, putting on a terrible British accent and putting his hand out to gesture towards the automatic doors.
"You're such an idiot." George laughed, shaking his head slightly, as he obliged and walked forwards into the store.
