Dark shadow was looking around the forest searching for you and Shoji.
"But... How did he get this way?" You ask in shock. "After Mandalay told us what was happening and that we shouldn't engage we were both on high alert. Still one of the villains got the drop on us. I hid in the bushes and tried to cover Tokoyami, even though one of my arms was cut off." Shoji says.
"Really?" You ask. "It looks bad but it's not like it's lost forever. My Dupli-arms are capable of making duplicates upon duplicates. One of those was cut off. Thing is, he couldn't stand seeing me injured like that. The quirk he'd been suppressing began to rage and take over. " Shoji continues.
"The darker it is the less control Tokoyami has... I had no idea his quirk could explode like this." You say.
"It's probably fueled by his righteous indignation and regret. He's trying to hold it back but they made it wilder." Shoji says and steps on a twig. Dark shadow attacks the area but Shoji had moved and was hiding again.
"It started lunging at any sound or movement. A beast lashing out with indiscriminate attacks." Shoji says.
"Forget about me! Go! Find our classmates. Help them instead! Stop this. Calm down dark shadow!" Tokoyami struggles to shout.
"His quirk as a weakness to light. If we can lead them to a fire or back to camp we can contain it... Y/n. I know these are strange circumstances, but I can't just leave a suffering friend behind. You forced your broken body to get you here because you're worried about Bakugo even though you're being targeted too. If you still wanna save him, I'll distract dark shadow for you. And you can run." He says.
"No way. Hold on. A fire and camp are both pretty far away... You'll be in danger of he--" you start but you two made a sound and dark shadow attacks. Luckily Shoji moved in time.
"I know that. But to save people you have to take risks. Thats what makes a hero a hero. Will you stay withe and help Tokoyami? Or will you rush to Bakugo's side? You have to make a choice. Right now." Shoji says.
You think about it and close your eyes. When you open them you look directly at dark shadow. "I already have. I've got a plan." You say.

Shoji was running through the forest with you on his back still, Dark Shadows wrecking the woods as he chases after you two.
You were struggling to use what you could of your mind control to calm dark shadow down. Without having Nanika in control it wasn't nearly as powerful but it was enough to slow him down so he didn't catch you.
Shoji ran towards where Bakugo and Todoroki were fighting another villain. "Bakugo! Todoroki!" Shoji shouts as you two near them. "One of you give us some light!!" You shout.
The villain tried to attack but Dark Shadows absolutely crushed him, slamming him to the ground.
"Bakugo!" You shout.
His eyes widen as he see's you two. "Shoji and Y/n. And is that... Tokoyami?" Todoroki asks as he stares at Dark Shadow. "We need some light now! I'm doing what i can to keep him from absolutely killing us but it's not working so well! He's out of control!" You shout at them.
"He's attacking blindly, I'll use my fire." Todoroki says. "Not so fast." Bakugo says.
You look over and see the villain Moonfish getting up. "Flesh. Slabs of meat. No good. Can't allow it. I'm the one who gets to slice them open! Don't steal from me!!" Moonfish shouts as he attacks Dark Shadow.
"You don't matter. Insignificant bug!" Dark Shadow says and hits him back.
Bakugo was smirking. "Now finish him." He says. Dark Shadow roars and grabs moonfish, throwing him into a tree and likely killing him.
