You ever grew up thinking online relationships would never work and would just get cat-fished like in the shows, or just y'know, find it absolutely ridiculous.
That's exactly how I use to think, way back when I first learnt about online dating...
"How pitiful it must be to be separated from someone you fall in love with, just like everyone says long distance relationships never work."
I use to say that all the time but never once had I understood why people try making them work since most the time it never works.
I never wanted to experience one, especially in my high school days cause from having girlfriends in it made me realise how clingy and attentive I am..
After one of the relationships that happened I gained so much bad things from it, just from one regretful thing which was gaining feelings for that certain person.
Self hatred..
Trust issues..
Anxiety..
Mild depression..
Excessive overthinking..
Those 5 things affected me for the rest of my college life and first year of working.
They were such strong feelings, I barely had control of em sometimes..
Almost overwhelmed me once and almost got the best of me..
Until I met her..
She changed everything..
And we met online..
How much my life changed forever..
