Izuku sat in the common room, on the couch in tears... Uraraka had done him dirty, leeching off him for gifts that she could sell for money, she never loved him did she?

Izuku sobbed, alone in the room, it was 1am so everyone was asleep.

Well almost everyone...

"Izuku... what's wrong" asked a soft voice from behind him.

Izuku turned around and looked towards the voice. It was Todoroki. He sat down next to Izuku on the couch.

"Hey hey hey... calm down and talk to me. What happened" Todoroki asked lightly, rubbing Izuku's back in the process.

"Uraraka, she- she was playing me. She just wanted me for money. She never loved me" Izuku cried.

Todoroki wasn't used to comforting people so he did what he thought was right. He pulled Midoriya in and hugged him, letting the boys head rest in his shoulder.

After a few minutes the sobbing had been reduced to a few sniffles.

"Thank you Todorki, this means a lot" Izuku said looking into his eyes.

"Hey man, I may be stoic around people I don't like or trust but I care about you. If you need someone to talk to I'd be glad to try and help" and for the first time Izuku had ever seen, Todoroki gave him a smile.

Izuku had never experienced true heartbreak and that shallow crush he had on Uraraka could barely account for his longing to be loved. He had never considered looking for love in a fellow man...

But now, as he stared at Todoroki, his smooth skin, his clean cut hair, his beautiful dual colored eyes... he truly felt happy, wanted. He was taken in by the stoic and yet adorable face of the boy he had spent so much time with...

This was who he wanted to be with. Someone who would care when he was upset, someone who understood what it was like to not have the best childhood who he could talk to. Someone like Todoroki.
