BUT NONE OF THE CHARACTERS HAVE GOOD CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

sophie: doesnt really learn from her mistakes, is perfect in every way and we can't change that
keefe: made the same stupid mistake back in unlocked (running away to the neverseen and running away from the lost cities)
tam: bro didnt really change after coming back from the neverseen
linh: wait omg she has a character outside of being the stereotypical kawaii asian girl
dex: technology, sensitive, smart character who actually does all the work but is stopped by the amazing talented main character
marella: has a sad backstory but nobody cares about her
stina: her personality is doing fricking pirouettes and i dont like it
the vacker siblings get a separate part because i have a lot to say about them
fitz: IS THE ONLY OTHER CHARACTER WITH A MAJOR FLAW
i am pissed because if his flaw was actually pulled off well he would have been my favourite character.
but NO
shannon turned his character upside down and shook his brains out
and for one, him killing his brother was justified
well, for me
because a brother who has killed and kidnapped and tortured and destroyed is not a brother.
and just as the door killed umber
and the rubble killed brant
fitz killed alvar
and remember when he attacked alvar?
to be fair, the council made a terrible decision.
and nobody cared about it.
because letting a serial killer live with his old family
who were acquainted with those who he had kidnapped
with a device a freaking 14 year old made?????
who in their right mind would actually do that?
and sure, dex is talented
but not a smart idea on behalf of the council.
when fitz attacked alvar biana didnt care
and that brings me to the youngest vacker child.

now when biana gets pushed into a mirror at nightfall
that's a pretty traumatic event
especially for a character like biana
who (very rightfully) was hurt
but guess what
NOBODY.
cared about her
and the story ignored her character development because sophie was off doing some
perfect stuff
ok
