We'll Meet Again (A NaLu Poem)

We'll Meet Again

I remember that time,

A time long ago,

When we were so happy,

Yes, so long ago.

We would met every day,

Right under a tree,

We'd laugh together,

Yes, those days were sunny.

But then the time came,

When you had to leave,

"I'm coming back" you said,

"There's no need to grieve."

You never came back,

To the tree on the hill,

But I still waited,

For the day you would show.

I waited for months,

For years possibly,

But you never came,

But I know you're coming..... probably?

But when I finally learned,

The news of a lie,

I refused to believe,

Is it really goodbye?

They brought you to the guild,

So everyone could see,

It was not a lie,

It was plain as could be.

We all took you,

And put you under the shade,

Of that beautiful tree,

On the hill where I stayed.

I stayed there the longest,

After the others had gone,

I couldn't leave,

I could never move on.

I remember that day,

The day of a lie,

That fateful day,

The day that you died.

I go back everyday,

And stay for while,

Thinking of the memories,

The ones touched with a smile.

The ones of my happy times,

With the Mage named Natsu,

Those memories will stay,

I'll never forget you.

I can't see you anymore,

But I won't stop loving you,

You're not here anymore,

And I have nothing more to lose.

Someday we'll meet again,

I look forward to that,

I'll see you again,

I hope you know that.

All I could want,

Is to hear your voice,

But I can't have that,

I have no choice.

I cant speak to you,

I cant send a letter,

I'd get no reply,

And that is no better.

And so here I'll sit,

On a hill under a tree,

I'll sit next to you,

And keep you company.

But as the sun sets,

And rises now and then,

I hope that someday,

We will meet again.
