She ran across a field of flowers, dandelions and beautiful sunflowers. Her beautiful brunette hair flows with the wind as she runs and dances. It's such a beautiful sight, the dark sky behind her, the stars in the sky. The lanterns."Avianna!" A girl dressed up in maid clothes barges into the princesses room, opening the curtains to let the bright sunlight in. "Princess Avianna." The girl with beautiful brown hair and bright green eyes had awoken. She wasn't much of a morning person but since she was a princess she had to get up. "I'll get your dress ready." The maid walked over to the princesses wardrobe. "Today you are to wear your blue dress, for the Spring festival." Her maid continued to try and get the princess up.
The princess finally got up from her bed and sat at her vanity, looking at herself in the mirror.
She looked just like her mother, soft pink lips, eyes that looked as beautiful as the grass outside. The only thing that made everyone know for sure that she was her fathers child was her attitude. Both the King and the princess didn't like much of the royal things that they had to do. Go to festivals, greet all the commoners on the island.
"I don't get why I have to get up so early for a festival that doesn't even start until Sunset." The princesses' assigned maid was brushing Avianna's hair.
"You have breakfast with your family."
"I'm not hungry!" The princess whines. " I want to sleep in!"
The maid ignored the princess and continued to help her get ready. "Rose! I'm a princess, I should be able to do whatever I want!" Avianna and Rose have been friends since they were little, even though Rose was a maid and Avianna a princess they had stuck together no matter what. Avianna made sure to protect Rose and her family from everything, that is why Rose is her assigned maid. "You have to do what your mother says." Rose replied to the princess. "Your mother gave me orders to get you ready so that is what I will do."
Avianna crossed her arms and stared at herself in the mirror. Even though she looked so much like her mother, she didn't like her. They never got along, in this world the queen is the one with the most power. The king is just there to give the queen children.
The princess walked to the great hall where her parents and brother were waiting. Her brother was very handsome, his name was Benedict. He was very tall, much older than Avianna. He had jet black hair just like his father, green eyes like all the royal blood has.
Avianna sat down across from her brother, they both smiled at each other.
"You're late." The queen says with a stern tone. Avianna leaned her head down and looked at her plate. "Sorry mother." she replied.
"Can we finally eat?" Benedict asked. He always loved food, if he wasn't out training with the guardsmen he would be in the kitchen eating all that he could. Benedict wasn't just tall he was also buff, a bit skinny. Some of the villagers say that he looked stronger than his father which was true.
The queen nodded her head and both Benedict and the king started to stuff their mouths with food. If Avianna ever did something like that she would get a disgusted look from her mother and then a talk with her after breakfast away from the maids and everyone in the castle. Avianna picked up her biscuit and took little bites, carefully. The queen didn't eat a single thing the whole breakfast.
—————————————"I don't get why she makes me attend breakfast if she doesn't eat anything." Avianna says while she swings on a tire that is hanging from a large tree. Rose was sitting on the ground leaning against the tree, reading a book. "It's all just so stupid!" Avianna jumped off the tire and looked over to Rose. "You're not even listening to me."
