"Bye I'll see you in Washington."

"Bye Carthan I'll see you there."

Oh no not again. Go away you dumb butterflies. Well here it goes, my first flight. And here we go.

*Plane takes off. 2 hours later it lands

Well that wasn't that bad. I wonder if Carthan landed yet. Should I text him? It should be fine.

"Hey Carthan did you land yet?"

"Yeah I'm getting my luggage now"

"Cool, find me when we get to the first monument."

"Ok"

After the plane ride we had gotten to meet our driver, and boy was he funny. I couldn't wait to start this trip. I also couldn't wait to see Carthan again.

So we hop on our bus for a bus ride of about an hour. Then we arrive at the first monument. The air force memorial. It was beautiful, but there was something missing.

I wonder where Carthan is? Do you think they are really late or really early? Oh well I'll be able to see him at the next one.

Alright 8th graders next we will be going to the famous place where thousands of people were buried. The other bus will not be with us because they had gotten out there earlier than us.

What? But we were supposed to be seeing everything together. :'(

"I see you."

"I don't see you. Where are you?"

"I'm on the side of the monument."

"Carthan stop playing hide and seek. Lol"

"Never!"

After a long day of trying to catch up to the group its finally time to go to the hotel and get some rest.

"Haley here is your room key"

"Ok. But there is only one name written on this envelope."

"Yeah the girl you were supposed to be rooming with wanted to go somewhere else."

Are you saying I get two whole beds and a hotel room to myself?! Omg this is awesome. I was supposed to be stuck in a room with 3 other girls I hate, now I'm all by myself. So what room am I staying in. Ah here it is. Wow this is a big room, oooh those beds look so comfy. Don't jump into them, don't jump into them. I cant help it!

*Jumps onto bed

NOCK NOCK NOCK!

"Hello sweet heart we are going to be putting the tape on your door now. Are you all alone in here?"

"Yes I had gotten a room all to myself"

"Well since you are in a joint room with someone can you please open that door. You don't have to let them in. I just don't want you dying because nobody knew there was something wrong."

"That's ok I understand. Good night"

RING RING RING!

Where is my snooze button? Wait a minute, that's not the sound my phone makes. What is making that sound? Really?! They ordered us a wake up call? Is it too early to go to breakfast, I wonder if Carthan is up yet?

"Hey you wanna go to breakfast?"

"Sure I'll be out in just a sec. meet my by the elevator."

"K"

Breakfast was really good. There was so many things to eat, but my favorite was the honey dew. After breakfast we hung around and talked. And then this one kid started to stick to Carthans side.

"Dude what are you doing? I'm not your buddy."

"My name is Aaron. And because you're on the same bus as me you have to be my buddy. She is on the other bus."

"But we are all in one place so it is ok."

After shooing off Aaron we then went to go see the white house. On the ride there the bus driver took every bodies lazer pointer if hey had one. This was because in D.C. the guards will shoot first and ask questions later. So a little red light might have gotten someone killed if it weren't for him taking them away. We couldn't go in the White house but we could take pictures of it.

"Hey Carthan. I see you still have Aaron."

"Aaron. I have already told you, when the two buses meet up Haley is my partner."

"So has he left you alone at all?

"No because I have to room with him"

"Well that sucks. At least you can hang with me when we meet up."

"Yeah you were the partner I was hoping to get when we went on this trip."

The next day

"Hey do you wanna go get breakfast. I can sneak out so Aaron doesn't see me. That way we wont have to deal with him."

"Ok I'll be out in just a sec, meet me by the elevators."

This is awesome. After getting to know him so much better on this trip, I feel like I can trust him. I hope he can trust me. Oh they have breakfast muffins. Yummy

After breakfast we had to go up and pack our luggage's because it was the last day and we were going to fly home today. 

"Go away Aaron, Haley is my partner."

*Puts arm around me

Omg what is happening? At least Aaron went away. His arm is still around my shoulders. Are we like buddies or...... what is happening, I'm so confused.

Carthan's friends "Oh it's so smooth I can't believe its not butter!"

"Hold on a second while I go smack Sebi"

"Ok I'll just be talking to Whitlock"

Do you think his friends were just being dumb? Cause it was pretty cool when he put his arm on my shoulders...... but..... I have no idea whats going on. Ugh stupid brain why do you always have to over think.

"So did you smack Sebi?"

"Yes"

"Lol did he deserve it?"

"Yes, just like CJ he has the IQ of a 3 year old."

"Lol it seems like it, who is that group of boys?"

"Those happen to be my old friends."

"Ah."

After we stroll through our last monument. We then say good bye, grab our stuff and get on our separate buses for the 3-4 hour trip home. The plane ride was nice. I slept most of the time, and I had gotten a window seat. On the plane I had a really weird dream. I had was falling, I think it was because I had to jump out of the plane. And all of a sudden Whitlock and Carthan had come to save me, whit lock had crashed but Carthan had a parachute. So he grabbed me, pulled the parachute and we floated down. Weird dream right?
