I was sitting in the noisy lunch room with ma head down feeling the urge to throw up.
"Nailah?" I heard to my left. It was kyia ma main bitch since 5th grade.
"mmm" I answered.
"Wats wrong" she said looking concerned asf all in ma face nd shii
"I'm ight" I said waving her off
" Nah stop fuckin lying. I can tell when sum ain't right with yo stubborn ass" she was getting frustrated cuz id been like dis all morning

" Nailah let me take u too the bathroom" She said standing up waiting on me
I held ma head up nd stood up nd as I went to walk I felt my legs collapse under me nd I felt ma head hit the floor then everything was black..... I heard kyia calling ma name but it was muffled nd was like everytime she said it was like she was father nd farther away till I didn't hear anything...
I awoke to kyia on ha phone nd KD was sitting next to me just lookin at me.
KD was ma older brother nd he takes care of me ever since ma dad beat ma mama to death when I was 9
"How u feelin nini" KD said as I opened my eyes
"Yea im ok" I muttered
Kyia popped up nd hugged me "Thank god ur awake" she whispered in ma ear while hugging me
She was hugging me when the doctor came in.
"Nice to see u awake Ms. Nailah how are u feeling" she said while shining her light into my eyes
"I feel weak nd tired" I muttered
"Well can u walk me thru wat happened at lunch" she said checking my heart beat
"I didn't feel good like my stomach was hurting hella bad. I felt like I was bout to throw up everything I'd ever ate. Then I stood up nd tried to walk nd I fainted." I told her while my kyia was rubbing my hand
" Ok can u tell me when ur last cycle was" she asked
I felt eyes piercing throw me nd I looked over at ma brother nd he was staring at me hard asf so I cleared ma throat nd spoke " My last cycle was a month ago"
"A month ago?" he said
"Yea I missed a month but dat happens when I'm really stressed"
It's final week so I thought I was just really stressed
"Ok then" she said as she wrote it down " Are u sexually active"
