As the mayor's secretary, you have to spend most of your time hearing screams and making important calls (for example, talk to an artist to paint your boss as Aphrodite).

The only thing that you enjoy about your job is that sometimes you are able to see Jack, and John of course. But you can only talk to him for a few minutes. Anyway, that shorts and casual talks means a lot for you. You usually ask him about how was he doing or if he has something to do after work..Although you never have the courage to ask him to go out on a date. But you are still happy with your relation just like this way.

Now you are leaving your work after being forced to stay at late.
Walking alone in the darkness its not your favourite thing that sure. You are trying to distract yourself thinking if your dog would be awake to recive you at home.

Suddenly you felt as someone was watching you.. you turn around but nobody was there.

[(Y/n) pov]

I start to walk faster when i heard some walks coming to my direction.

" keep walking. just a few minutes more and i will be safe and warm at home with Amy (your dog)" I was repeting that thinking as a mental escape of my situation

[General pov]

A hand grabs your arm. Your heart stops for a moment. You try to avoid looking at him for the fear but it was impossible not to notice that he was a big fat man wearing a demon mask and a red jumper. And if that wasnt enough, he was holding a knife.

He take advantage of your shocked state, he takes you to an alley and pushed you against a dirty wall

- Did you know that...your skin is the largest organ that you have?~

God. If you were already scared, after hearing that you couldn't stop shaking.

I started to look everywhere to try to find someone to help me but,at this time, there is no one else here

-I like to have my victims's all atention- He said with a creepy gigant smile while he slowly move my head to his direction with his free hand.

-Please...please dont- i said

-Please don't what?- he ask funny

-Please dont hurt me- i felt sick for begging for my life like that, but it was my only hope. He is too big to try to escape.

-Hurt you? Snack, i will do more than just that?

After he said that i realised who was him. I saw him on the news, Bob Velseb, "The cannibal". I was fucked up.

In that moment some familiar voices were coming

- It's your second box of cigarettes today, John. You will get sick if you keep smoking like that

-Not this talk ag- wait i just heard something coming from there

-It's probably just a cat.

-I dont think so. Lets go to check.

I see how quikly Bob's smile falls , he promised to come back for me. I fell to the floor on my knees and i started crying when he left. John found me.

-(y/n)! What happened to you?-He asked

-(y/n) is here?!- Jack comes quickly

-He almost kill me...- I said hardly

-Who?- ask John seriously

-Bob Velseb.- they both watch each other. Probably they were thinking to go to check if he was still around this place-but he is not here anymore. He left me after hearing you two. But he promise to come back for me.

-Are you ok?- Jack put a hand on my shoulder. He had a worried look

-I..just want to go home..but thanks.

-We'll take you- says John.

When we arrived i thank them again for everything and i stopped in front of my door. What if he comes back? I dont want to be alone again.

-H-Hey, i was thinking...maybe you would need some protection this night- Jack said on my back

-Are you sure? I dont want to be a problem to you-

-You would never

My look softened and i invite him to come inside. I tell him to sit on the sofa while i make some coffee for him. When i return to the living i found him caressing my dog who was in his legs..how luckly was my little fella.

-Looks like someone likes you- i said

-I like her too- He said with the most charming smile I ever see. I give him the cup.

-Thanks for staying. I can't even imagine being by my own right now-

-Don't mention it. Although you have your loyal guard dog that could protect you-He said joking.

amy started snoring showing her belly to us. We laugh at my trusty guardian

-Good that i have you- I cover my mounth.shit. That sound weird.

His cheeks turned into red and he pass a hand on his neck.

-I'M SO SORRY! That must sound pretty weird, Did it?

-Would you say it again?- He ask

I give him a weird look

-What? I like that

-You are impossible, you should know that

-I'm still waiting

-I said that its good to have you here to take care of Amy and I

-That wasnt your words

-Fineee. I said..good that i have you, happy?

-You dont have any idea of how happy you make me.

He was getting closer to me and put a hand on my cheek. I instinctively closed my eyes to wait for a kiss that never came. I opened one of my eyes to see him and he laughed at me.

-Jack!

And finally he closed the distance between us with the warmest and most kind kiss I had ever received.
