☆ 3rd person POV ☆

Jokla slowly blinked her dark blue-green eyes open. She yawned deeply as sounds of the morning filled her ears. Suddenly, a kiss was planted on her cheek.
" Happy birthday, love ~ ", Perun cooed.
" Well, good morning. ", Jokla giggled.
Jokla arched her head backwards and then confusion plastered on her face.
" Where's Aubri? ", She asked.
" She's making breakfast for you because it's your special day. ", He replied with a smile.
" Mmmmm, how I do love her cooking. She's so good at it. To be honest, sometimes it makes me jealous. ", She joked.

Soon, Aubri had appeared in the room. She held a tray in her ribbons. A strong sweet smell drafted into the room. She walked over to the bed. Perun quickly got out and made room for the tray. Aubri placed it in front of Jokla.

The tray had three blueberry pancakes that had syrup lightly flowing over the sides. A small plate of bacon and eggs were on both sides. And a glass of chocolate milk to go with it.

Jokla looked at Aubri with big and wide loving eyes.
" I hope you enjoy, birthday girl ~ ", Aubri cooed.
Jokla giggled and quickly chowed down on her breakfast. Aubri and Perun slipped out of the room to leave Jokla alone.

After Aubri shut the door behind her, she turned to Perun.
" You know what to do, right? ", She asked with a smirk.
" Yes, I will keep her away until the surprise is ready. ", He told her with a smile.
Then, They winked at each other and snickered a bit.

- Timeskip -

" Come on, Perun. I wanna go see Aubri. ", Jokla whined.
" But I still need to bring you more places. Like do you want stop at that anime or video game store? I've heard a new installment of your favorite game has come out recently ~ ", Perun replied.
" Wait, really? ", Jokla asked with stars in her eyes.
" Yeah, come on! ", He chirped.
Then, he proceeded to run. Jokla gasped at him.
" Wait up! ", She barked, accelerating after him.

- Meanwhile -

Many appetizers and drinks were spread out on the multiple tables. Aubri looked at everything with a smile. She counted each one and made sure nothing was missing. She also counted all the guests and made sure that everyone was here. All the balloons, streamers and other decorations were set up, neatly and in every possible place.

The cake was hidden in the kitchen and Aubri double checked on it to make sure that something has begun to nimble on it. It was in perfect condition. It read ' HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOKLA!! ' in icy blue frosting. Aubri even started to drool a bit looking at it. She shook her head, telling herself that it's for her girlfriend and the birthday girl gets the first bite.

Aubri grabbed her phone from the counter. She opened messages. She texted Perun.
' Hey, everything is ready. Everybody's here. ', She texted.
A minute later, Perun replied.
' Alright, I'll be there in about a half an hour. ', Perun sent back.
Aubri closed her phone and smiled. She couldn't wait to see the surprised look on Jokla's face.

- Timeskip -

One guest spotted Jokla and Perun coming.
" EVERYBODY HIDE. SHE'S COMING!! ", They shouted.
Everyone quickly found hiding places. The lights turned off as they all disappeared from view. Some light snickering was heard, followed by a shhhh sound.

" Ladies, first ~ ", Perun cooed, opening the door for Jokla.
Jokla scoffed at him and then turned on the lights. Everyone immediately jumped out of the hiding spots.
" SURPRISE! ", They all shouted.
Jokla held her paw to her heart, which had gained speed. Perun let out a chuckle. Aubri came up to Jokla and kissed her on the cheek.
" Surprise, love ~ ", She cooed.

Jokla looked at both her partners. She quickly pulled them in for a big hug. Some tears of joy streamed down her face.
" I love you guys so much. ", She told them.

I know, random idea. But, take another request. I suddenly got some motivation or something. Or I'm just procrastinating on something else with writing jdndmdksjsjdj
