Inside his office instead of working he did something else- of course technically he was working just on something that wasn't exactly what he was supposed to do. But did Darren care: no, of course not if his plan was a success he could run this company however he wanted and create whatever he wanted. After he had written a few things down he went through the basics of his plan to himself. He would simply petition Hank Pym out of the company once he earned Hope's trust she wouldn't hesitate to sign with him and once he "motivated" a few other employees he had this petition in the bag.

At closing time he waited a few minutes, she would come and he knew it. A few minutes after his mind rang an invisible timer Hope walked into his office. Her face was skeptical. "Hi again I just wanted to ask what else you had to say...since you didn't exactly say much at the cafe" she finished staring at him. "Well I realized this much Hank Pym shouldn't be in charge of either of us anymore he disappointed- betrayed both of us first his own daughter then his closest apprentice so I have an idea to end that" he finished trying to make his statement as persuading as possible he knew she wasn't going to befriend or trust him right away just enough to be more and more curious.

After he said his statement she stared at him silently as if she was thinking "What's your plan?" she finally asked. "Meet me before work in a couple of days and I'll tell you". He answered before turning off the lights of his office, walking her outside and driving off. He knew she was curious of what his plan was and even though his plan was ready and already perfected it was that curiosity that would drive her and eventually get her to trust him- or atleast follow what he said. He saw the look in her eyes in the rearview mirror and knew his plan was working more and more. Now you might ask what he was planning on doing before those few days he would meet Hope again. Darren was planning on creating the blueprints and starting his questioning to begin creating his 'Pym Particle' right away of course this was just a blueprint he needed to start testing right away after he could run Pym Technologies.

The next few days he began to get more and more impatient. He spoke with Hope about the petition and could definitely tell she was interested and leaning more to his side but she needed more time to come around. His at-home tests could only go so far and they always resulted in failure... His anger began to control him, making each test more and more infuriating. He was impatient to the day when he could finally get his hands on all the Pym Technologies testing equipment. The clock was ticking as it ticked the more Darren Cross changed from a bright eyed intelligent man to a man controlled by his own anger and hatred for one man.
