I woke up to my mom Sarah shaking me, "come on sweety, you have to pack." I let out a sigh and said, "ok." She left my room and I sat up, stretching and getting out of bed. I went to my closet and grabbed a band shirt, and some black ripped jeans. I put on my black sneakers and went to the kitchen, seeing my mom and dad. Sarah and David, my adoptive parents. My dad turned around from the oven and gave me a smile, "morning sweety. You ready for our trip to London?" I nodded and hugged my mom from behind, "you happy you're going to the best witch and wizard school?"
I shrugged and said, "I guess. It would be nice to go somewhere other than visiting aunt Clare." Mom laughed and said, "shh, that's a secret between the three of us." I giggled and said, "I know I know." Dad placed a plate of bacon and waffles in front of me and said, "eat up!" I gave him a smile and said, "thanks dad." He handed mom a plate too, we all started to eat. while we were eating, I said, "to be honest I'm a little nervous." My adoptive parents turned to me, and my mom asked, "why is that?" I put down my fork and said, "well I don't know if I'll make any friends. Plus, I don't want to leave you guys, especially Jay."
They gave me a soft wholesome smile and dad said, "don't worry. You're going to do great, besides its Hogwarts! You also don't worry about Jay; she's got her own life. She might miss you, but she'll understand." I gave them a smile and asked, "is Jay coming back from her friends soon?" My mom nodded and a worried look popped up on my dad's face. "Oh no! I was supposed to pick her up!" Dad rushed to get the car keys and yelled, "I'll be right back!" Dad rushed out of the house and mom said, "come on. We still have to pack up." I gave her a smile and nodded, putting my dish in the sink.
I headed to my room, starting to pack. I grabbed my violin case and put it with my bags, 'there we go.' I soon heard the front door open and dad yell, "we're home!" I soon heard Jay's tiny footsteps approach my door, then my door swings open. I saw Jay's blonde hair and blue eyes, "Ash!" She ran towards me, and I opened my arms, letting her jump into them. She let out a laugh and I asked, "how was your friends?" She gave me a smile and said, "good." I let go of her and said, "go pack. We're gonna leave soon!" She gave me a smile and said, "ok!" Before running towards her room.
