He stood there for awhile just staring, I tried not to stare but I couldn't help myself, so I looked up and in that moment it felt like it was just the two of us in the whole cafe,in that moment everything just stopped. He was a bit tall but not too tall about 5'8 or 5'9, tan skin, athletic build, dark hair with a blue tshirt, light khaki shorts and white sneakers. The thing that stood out to me most was that he was wearing sunglasses inside the cafe which I found very odd. Who wears sunglasses inside a building?

"I'm gonna get something to drink do you want anything?" I shook my head no."I'll be right back." My cousin went over to the bar while I sat and watched the band play. I kept glancing over at the mysterious man at the bar, he was just leaning against the bar unnoticed by everyone else around him. I glanced over at the man and sure enough he was still there leaning against the bar. I was enjoying the music playing on the tv while the band was taking a quick break. The bartender came up to my table and asked if I would like anything to drink.

"I'll have a water." She gave me a tight lip smile and went back to the bar. A couple minutes later she came back and placed my water on the table. "Courtesy of the man at the bar." I was confused but didn't ask questions. I took a sip from my water and looked over to the tv screen, the song that was playing was Tonight Is The Night by Betty Wright. Oddly enough the lyrics were describing how I was feeling in that moment, my heart was pounding in my chest and I was trying my best to calm down. The heat was unbearable, so I finished my water and I headed to the bathroom to cool off.

I splashed water on my face and put on a bit of lipstick. I stepped out and went back to where I was sitting. I glanced over at the bar again to see if the mystery man was still there, he was. My curiosity got the best of me, so I got up and decided to go up to the man. As I was approaching the bar he was leaning against it with his hands together and the thing that stood out to me was his jaw, he had a very sharp jawline. I tapped on his shoulder to which he turned around, he raised his eyebrows in surprise. I introduced myself.

"Hi, sorry to bother but you look so much like someone I know." I smiled nervously. He gave a smirk, "Really? Is that so?" I nodded, something told me it was definitely him I just knew it but I didn't want him to know that, so I decided to be inconspicuous about it. "Thank you for the water, you didn't have to do that." He decided to sit on the bar stool, "It was nothing really." He smiled and took his sunglasses off. His eyes were so pretty up close, they were so green almost emerald. We chatted for a while then I suggested we talk outside, I let my cousin know about my whereabouts and he was fine with it. "You never gave me your name."

He stopped walking and looked around to see if anyone was paying any mind, "Taron." I just smiled at him and we continued walking. After our walk we headed back to Cafe Negril and I texted my cousin to let him know that we had returned. He was back at the hotel, I told him not to worry that I was in good company.

"Are you doing anything tonight?" He asked while he had his hands in his pockets. "No, do you?" "Just a couple scenes I have to do, won't take too long I'm sure." I just smiled at him getting lost in those beautiful green eyes.

Afterwards we spoke some more and he had offered me a ride back to my hotel. On the way there he spoke to me about his time on set and getting to explore the city of New Orleans. I asked him if it was his first time there he said yes and that he really enjoyed the culture and the food as well as the people. I told him it was my first time there too and oneday was hoping to visit again. We arrived at the hotel and we exchanged numbers to keep in touch, said our goodbyes and I headed up to my room.

I laid on the bed tired from the days activities, and relieved on being in an air conditioned room seeing to how hot it was outside. As I laid in bed enjoying the cool air my phone buzzed, startled I sat up to see who it was.

It was Taron.
