"Hyunjin, I love you." Those four simple words were the alpha's lifeline, his reason to keep on living, but fate has a cruel way of interfering with his story. It's funny because of how much he thanked the same invisible force of nature who knitted a path, a path which led him to Felix. The beautiful blonde omega stood before him, waiting for his answer.

Hyunjin always thought that Felix came from Neverland considering how he looks ethereal and fairy-like, how men and women fail to even come close to his nest of lemon-colored locks resting on top of his pretty little head. How pixies sprinkled fairy dust on his cute button nose and his blush-prone cheeks. How the tiny specks of light decided to live and imprint their mark on him, as a form of chocolate-tinted spots. How his scent of bubble gum and white lilies always tickles the brunette's nostrils everytime Felix is near him. And how he is gonna miss all of this, all of Felix.

"Jinnie? Please say something...anything..." The omega's eyes became glassy in an instant, with tears threatening to fall from its brims, as he held the alpha's hand and pressed it against his cheek. Purring at the physical contact. Oh god, how it hurt him seeing the omega's smile fade, because of his indecisiveness.

"I can't, I'm sorry." Without a second thought, he pulled his hand back. It took him every energy he had to turn his back on the omega while his wolf was cursing at him for being a coward. He would proudly say that he chose what's best for both of them. It's better to nip the bud of their blossoming romance before it reaches its full bloom. Felix would be better off with a man, who would make him a priority all the time. And that man would never be him.

The sky started to cry alongside their aching hearts, pouring harshly on the busy streets of the city. Washing away the purpose of their initial meeting, as he tucked away the red velvet box inside his pocket, and opened the cab's door that stopped beside him. The pitter-patter of the rain drowned the omega's wails and desperate pleas for him to stay.

"H-hello, sorry for calling so late, but I accept your offer." The line that would change their lives forever. He faced the soaking omega one last time as he mouthed the four words that he always wanted to say back to him.

"I love you too." he whispered in the wind; it carried those bittersweet words, and the blonde's bubblegum scent, as it got lost in the fabric of time forever.

"Hyunjin!"

Five years later, Present day.

"Hyunjin?!" A booming voice disrupted him from reminiscing about his last memory with Felix. He lifted the right earcup that was covering his ear, as he was listening to the demo of their new songs.

"Yeah? What do you need, Changbin?" He asked his bandmate, who was holding a violet-themed raid poster. The party that Changbin talked about all week, a small get together that they were asked to play as the opening act. He would have said no because their comeback was coming near, but Chan had already said yes prior to their knowledge. It turns out their leader is really close to the host.

"The new hot band called "Pink Fusion" is going to play there too. Aren't you excited?" The older one grinned at the poster, like a child looking at candy jars. Looking at his potential new flavor of the week. It would have been okay for Hyunjin, except for the fact that his weekly "mates" tend to leave their underwear all over their house. And Hyunjin was always the one cleaning after them, everytime.

"Looking for your new mate? Aren't you too old to play around?" Hyunjin clicked his tongue in annoyance, tired of being his cleanup guy. He knew he had struck the nerves of the older alpha. But enough is enough.

"Aren't you supposed to mate with Yoona?" the short alpha clapped back, with no intentions of backing out. His tone was as sharp as a knife that pierced through Hyunjin's arrogant demeanor.

"What did you say, you little funk?!" He snarled, while grabbing Changbin's collar upwards, until his feet hovered above the ground. He really knows how to press the younger alpha's buttons. He really doesn't see his girlfriend as his future mate, and he gets pissed off whenever somebody pressures him to take the next step in their relationship. He slipped on the brass knuckles smoothly on his free hand, he was about to teach him a lesson. When a loud bang was heard at their makeup room's entrance, speaking of the woman, herself. Hyunjin quickly threw Changbin against their old leather sofa, just as he took off the knuckles from his digits.

"Darling, I'm sorry, but I won't be going to tonight's party. I have a spa appointment all night." The Korean woman told his boyfriend, snaking her pale arms around his hips, pulling him closer to her chest. She mused at his other half with utmost love and pride, while Hyunjin gazed at her dead in the eyes.

"God, Yoona. I told you, I hate pet names." he rolled his eyes, as he pressed his fingers on the bridge of his nose. The female omega is a growing nuisance; that's how Hyunjin described her. She always has her nose up on his business, kinda suffocating if you ask him.

"But baby." Her lips turned into a pout, an attempt to sway her boyfriend into her wishes. Hyunjin almost threw up at the sight of her face.

"Yoona, we're gonna leave any minute now. So bye, see you on Monday." He pushed her away from him, after giving her a peck on her cheeks. Looking at his reflection in the mirror, Yoona on her side. He can't help but look back at those times that he took for granted, when Lixie was still in his arms. Back then, when he was truly happy. His longing for the blonde omega had made him enter some sort of trance; seeing his memory too vividly.

The male omega has his back leaning against his chest, against the alpha's heart steadily calling for Felix's name. They both hum and sway along the tone of 'Yellow', just as Hyunjin wrapped his arms across the blonde's thin waist. Afterwards, he dipped his nose against the omega's scent gland; savoring the sweet candy scent that never failed to intoxicate him. He then would plant wet kisses on his now ex-boyfriend's sharp jaw. Eventually, they would just close their eyes, simply listening to their serene harmony.

It was nothing now but a distant memory of a boy that was once his. Staring at the mirror again, with neither Yoona nor Felix by his side. If you ask him why does he still hold that memory dear to his heart? His answer will always be: The heart knows what it wants . He picked up the comb which was resting on top of the vanity mirror's table. Parting his crimson-dyed hair in the middle, tying the rest of his hair in a bun, and sparing a few strands just to fall on both opposite sides of his face. He fixed his gaze on his facial features, the auburn tint on his eyes; the black eyeliner underneath his eyelids. He dabbed his finger on the cherry lip balm, before he rubbed it all over his lips.

One last look at the man desired by many, but he only needed one, as he put on the mask of Riffmeister Galaxy, or RG for short. Chained Malevolent bassist.

"Let's tear the house down!"
