I'm sorry guys, this is my way of venting the tearing feelings lately that haunt and kill me emotionally. I really miss someone that I realized a long time ago was gone, but went through the five steps of grieving before I knew it was true and i could come at terms with myself. While I realize that others have had worse then me, this is why rather then taking out these feelings on people, I take them out on muses. Here is a Rhink fanfic gone wrong that I will have two separate endings to. A good ending and a bad ending. In this particular fic you will also witness, to the best of my abilities, the five stages of loss and grieving according to reports and doctors, as well as what I personally went through and felt. You will also get to meet the other side of Link known as Neal, who will appear in about the middle of the story and in the bad ending. I hope the people will stick around long enough for these endings and thank you again for even reading this intro.

Future disclaimers: There will be mentions of death, suicide, depression and divorce. A mature rating was slapped on here, just in case.

please forgive the typos and spelling error's as I write this very late at night and on a bus when coming home from work. It is my idea, along with drawing, of a way to unwind and relax.

Please also understand, as this is a fanfiction, not all information will be correct on the famous duo. I am a long term fan of GMM and the affiliates, and understand that there will be holes in the plot and pieces of made up information.

Enjoy and have a box of tissues ready.

============================================================

Link was not fond of the winter weather. In fact, he hated the cold more then he hated snakes or spiders. But one time or another, he would spoil those he loved with his presents outside. His children loved to have snow ball fights and loved building snowmen with Link. They would be out for hours without him realizing it until he found the sun sinking slowly behind the mountains or, since being in California, the tallest buildings they had. Often times his wife would watch with the smile he loved to see oh so much. His oldest child, and his only daughter, Lilly, looked so much like her. It brought the famous lopsided smile that he graced his fans with out to be shared with his family. His two sons Lincoln, the second oldest, and Lando, his youngest, looked so much like him, it made him proud to say that he made them. He liked to joke around a lot by saying that. But in his eyes, his sons would do great things just like their daughter. The three of them were his pride and joy, his life and his blood. His family, mostly his children it seemed, could bring the best out of him any time and any day. They managed to get him outside didn't they? Even when his wife, Christy, could not.

There was one other exception to his hatred of winter and that was his best friend Rhett Mclaughlin. The man he knew since first grade. The man that, saved him through every grade. The man that was there at his side. Through his panic attacks. Through the bullying. Through the hatred and through it all. When Rhett wanted him to come out, when he invited him to walk through the park to talk and to think of ideas for the next episode of Good Mythical Morning, Link refused to say no to him. How could he? this was a man he owed hundreds of times over. Without him, he frankly knew that he would have hung himself by his freshmen year of high school. Thankfully his friend was there to help him through it. Without Rhett, he was nothing. Without Rhett, there would be nothing. They were partners in crime. They were brothers. They were the GMM magical beasts that started it all.

Link wished that he had had the guts to tell himself this sooner. To tell himself that, he may have needed the other at his side more then just the few times that they hung out. More then the times that they were together planning. More then the times that they hosted their shows together. More then....
