Friday Afternoon

"Make sure he's in bed by seven thirty! And please do not let Neal do reckless things, boys at that age seem to be prone to accidents!" Snow pointed out as she put her red coat on. Emma rolled her eyes and turned to her father and moaned.

"Dad can you please remind Mom that i am a very responsible adult who by the way also has her own kid! I'm sure I know how to take care of my younger brother!" Charming chuckled at Emma.

It's been a while since he and Snow had a quality night between the two of them. And when Emma said that Henry was at Regina's for the weekend, he managed to persuade her to help out her parents who is desperately in need of a getaway.
"We will be back Monday morning. I can't thank you enough for looking after Neal for the weekend!" He picked up the last suitcase and ruffled Neals combed hair. The seven year old looked up to Charming and smiled. "I trust you will be a good boy for Emma?" Neal nodded.
"David we need to leave now if we want to make it to the cottage on time!" Snow hurried to Neal and Emma and said her goodbye which David followed to do so.

Hearing the door thud as it closed, Emma looked down to her brother. "Well i guess it's just the two of us now."

Emma sighed. It is now five o clock. Two hours since Snow and Charming left Neal with her. Not quite sure how she will entertain Neal for the next two days but hey a chance to bond.
Neal is engrossed in a racing game on a old model of PlayStation. Thinking that Neal needs to spend his Friday evening on something outside the digital world, she has come up with a plan for the evening

"Neal! Last race and then put on your coat, we're going out!" Smirking as she hears Neal groan, walk up the stairs and whine that he wants to stay home. That he would rather stay and complete all the races needed to unlock that super cool car.
"Where are we going?" Neil ask as he returns to Emma.
"Well, at first we are going to get some food, then we are going to see a certain pirate and his ship!"

Henry loves being aboard The Jolly Roger, something about standing on the ship with the wind blowing through his hair causing his watery eyes to stream and hearing the waves crash against the ship, he finds fascinating. And if Henry has found his sea legs surely Neal will also do so. Maybe she can get Killian to let Neal have a go on the wheel. That way she can earn some bonus cool sister points.
