"Kaden"! a little boy wearing green runs up crying with a black eye .he grabs my shirt and looks up at me it was my brother we were five at the time .he tells me about a 6-year-old girl that took his food and punched him.we go over and I get his food back he smiles so bright and prases me with every word we knew at age five. but I get this feeling I want to see him smile more like I've failed him in some way. ill do anything to get rid of this feeling.the sounds around us start to fade he looks at me while the trees start to disappear " brother can you promise me something "

YES! I yell trying to hear him his voice cracks "pro-s that y- w- always pr-

his voice fades completely I grab his shoulders and shake him

Kaden shoots up the heart races he had been having the same dream for ages sky yells from the other side of the room "get up we're going to be late for school" sky throws him a pb& j in a zip lock bag Kaden catches it and throws it in his bag and gets up of the bed he gets dressed and catch the bus to middle school and as soon as they walk through the school doors they ack like they don't know each other no one in the school knows there sibling and they don't want people to know they go throw there day smoothly till Kaden walks out his class to see three or four guys rounding his brother who was half concise reaches out his hand to Kaden he froze looking Kaden in the eyes but Kaden put his head down and kept walking he flinched as the guys continued pushing and kicking him till he hit the ground uncouncues  at the end of the day they got on the busand when they got to there stop sky raced of the bus and kaden walked they get home and kaden leans his back on the door 

"sky I'm sorry "

" GO AWAY!"

sky and kaden sits on there beds in silence till kaden sed

"we where   in matching green cloths a onesy with peachish shoes dhe hit you in the eye and took your food then yu showed me a bright smile and peraded me with compliments the you acksed me to promise you that  umm ugh"

kaden lays down and closes his eyes he here's russleing in the other bed he asumes sky laded down to but the he here's

"sniff hic night- 

kaden looks to his mirror and sees sky siting on his bed with his face in his knees hitting his head very time he sobs kaden falls asleep moments later

suddenly he's in his dads old house he fears some one talking he ses a peace of paper it was a birthday card for his 6th birthday party it was late at night and he herd talking from be hind the door he sees his 6 year old selth watching the adults talk they say

"what do we do sky really bileaves he's kadens brother "

i know but they are so close and they don't remember there mother"

"shes coming for kaden when he's 18 sky will be devistaded

he seps back  then looks to see 6year old him he had his mouth covered he sed 

"he lied i hate dad i i hate mom no no i cant hate them... i i i hate sky ill never be his real brotherbut if he knows he will hate me to    ill keep it a secret i don't have to protect him i hate him"

kaden wakes up and looks to his brother who finily fell asleep 

"i have three years huh ok ill make it up to you"
