An urban myth. A humorous or horrific story or piece of information circulated as though true, especially one purporting to involve someone vaguely related or known to the teller. This is what The Backrooms have been described as over the years, an urban legend. The Backrooms is an urban legend and a creepypasta that tells the tale of an endless maze of randomly generated office rooms, or at least by Wikipedia. It's said there are infinite floors generated in a new reality. To enter the Backrooms, you must "noclip" out of reality. It isn't a guaranteed method of achieving this, as it only occurs inconsistently. However, there are some tips to increase the chances of entering the Backrooms. One method is to find an "entrance". These are glitches in our reality that lead within the Backrooms, but these are extremely rare to come by. Some of these entrances include:
Walls that are a shade darker than normal, or that do not appear to cast a shadow. Doors that did not exist previously and appear to be out of place.Areas that give a sense of unease, where one feels strangely off-put.
On the extremely but rare chance that you found an entrance to the Backrooms, do not approach the entrance unless you are properly prepared. Once you have the necessary supplies for survival, simply walk into the discolored wall or enter the out-of-place door. Some may reach the Backrooms accidentally within their first attempt, while it may take others hundreds or even thousands of attempts to reach. It's just all based on luck, or rather, unluckiness. If you somehow get unlucky enough to reach the Backrooms, it's most likely that you'll find yourself within Level 0. On rare occurrences, there have been reports, that others have initially found themselves in Level 1 or Level 2.
It's is possible that'll you'll accidentally stumble into the backrooms. If you do happen to, the first thing that you should do is stay calm. Panicking is one of the causes for one to lose their senses, such as sense of direction. Which could make one lose their way. Panicking may also make noise, which may attract unwanted visitors. The second thing you must do is make a mental note of your surroundings to determine which level you've ended up in. You should do this every time you have entered a new location in the Backrooms. The third thing you must do is accept the fact you are now within the Backrooms, and that you are very unlikely to reach home ever again. Accepting this fact will help you focus on the task at hand: survival, rather than trying to return home and exhausting yourself. You should also try to stick to where you have started, entering other levels could be dangerous. You must pass through many dangerous levels and unlikely hazards to start your journey through the Backrooms.
Sidenote: Very few have ever officially made it out of the Backrooms, and it is currently unknown when it ends as new levels are being found at all times.
