Chapter 9: Bad Dream

POV: Elizabeth Coulson

I woke up in the middle of the night. I look around and I dont see Daddy, Papa, Dami or Daddys team. I was so tired that I went back to sleep. Before fully falling asleep Ward wakes me up and tells me that he made pasta. We eat the pasta, but as I do I start to fall asleep. I feel Ward picks me up and takes me somewhere. I lay my head on his chest and hold on to him falling asleep.

After about two hours I woke up because of a nightmare. I look around to find no one, I then see someone and hear them talking. I know the voice, it was Mother. She was the person who made my dream scarier. Once I didn't see Ward, I got my things together and teleported to Grandpa Nick. I must have teleported to him in a meeting, because I heard him and others talking.

When Grandpa doesnt see me, I start to cry even more than I was doing before. He then saw me and picked me up. He is holding me to his chest the rest of the meeting and Im holding onto him tight with my face in his neck. During the meeting I could hear people saying aww, and I didnt know Director Fury had a heart. After that I fell back asleep only to see the nightmare again. Grandpa Nick could tell I was having a nightmare because he woke me up. He then pulled out Murphy Two and I pulled him to me.

After about an hour, I get woken up by Grandpa Nick getting up. I couldnt go back to sleep because the nightmare scared me so bad. Once Grandpa Nick got out of the room he went to his office. He then asked why Im here and not with Daddy. I just curly up to him and Murphy Two.

Baby Director, I need you to tell me why you are here. Said Grandpa Nick

I had a bad dream; Daddy and his team are evil and Papa and Dami are gone. I said

Oh princes, you Daddy could never be evil, not when he has you. Said Grandpa Nick

He is evil, Grandpa Nick, I don't want to go back. I said

Lizzie, he is not evil, it was just a bad dream. Close your eyes and try to get some sleep. I have a meeting with the Avengers. So why dont you get some sleep and dont worry I will take you with me. Said Grandpa Nick, pulling my blanket over me and I fell asleep.

POV: Nick Fury

When Lizzie falls asleep, I call Phill, before I must go to the Avengers meeting.

Phill, I have Lizzie, she had a bad dream. I said

Oh, thank the angel, I thought her Mother took her. said Phill

I know you have her on your plane, but why did you think that? I asked

Ward went to the bathroom, she got out and Lizzie was missing. Said Phill

Okay, well her bad dream was about you and your team being evil. I said

Im coming and there is nothing you can do to stop me. Said Phill

Oh, I know see you soon. I said and we both hung up.

After I end the call, I get up being careful not to wake up Lizzie and I walk to the meeting room. All the Avengers are there and are waiting on me. Once I walk in, I sit down and that is when a Stark just has to ask why Im late. Im never late to meetings, it is always him.

Director Fury, why are you late? asked Stark

Some of us have a Stark family. I said

What did you have to go to your dead, not really sons grave? asked Stark. Lizzie heard that and started to cry; Barton then gets up once he hears her crying. He walks over to Stark, after he takes Lizzie.

You dont get to talk about Phill Coulson that way. Baby Coulson, I got you. Said Barton as he punched Stark in the face and Stark was about to punch him back, but Lizzie used her powers.

Why do you care about Coulson? asked Stark

He was my and Nats handler when he was alive, and we went on missions. Also, Im his daughter's second Godfather. So, you dont get to make fun of him or his daughter or I will hurt you. Said Barton

Barton sit down and get Lizzie to stop crying. I said, he punched him one more time

If you make fun of Baby Spy or Coulson one more time I will mess with your tower. Said Romanoff

Why do you care besides the fact that he was your handler? asked Stark

Im Lizzies second Godmother. Said Romanoff

Stark, Barton and Romanoff focus now. I said as they stopped, and Barton and Romanoff tried to calm Lizzie down. I tell them what they will be doing on this mission.

Grandpa Nick, can I go? asked Lizzie

I dont know, Princess; it is going to be light and fluffy. I said

If that is the case then let the tiny kid go. Said Stark, and Barton, Romanoff and Lizzie burst into tears from laughing so hard. Lizzie almost needed her inhaler, so I gave it to Romanoff.

Why are they laughing so hard? asked Banner

He means that it will be hard. Said Hill coming and taking Lizzie

Hey I had her. said Barton

I was going to get her next. Said Romanoff

Well I got her now. Said Hill

Give her back Hill. Said Barton

Give her to me. Said Romanoff

I got her. said Hill

Aunt Carol. Said Lizzie teleporting behind me

Hello Isabelle, want to see Aunt Goose? asked Danvers

Yes, bye, bye bi Uncle Clint, Aunt Nat and Grandpa Nick. Said Lizzie as her and Danvers leave

Bye Nick. Said Danvers

Bye you two behave. I said

You, that is not going to happen. Said Barton, Romanoff and Hill running after them.

POV: Carol Danvers

Isabelle, Romanoff, Barton, Hill and I start to have fun pranking people. Doing that Isabelle forgot about her bad dream. Once we get all the SHIELD agents we go onto the Avengers. It is a lot of fun.

Isabelle, are we going to prank Grandpa Nick? I asked

Yes, then other agents, last Avengers. Said Isabelle

Okay well lets get started. Said Hill

This will be fun. Said Barton

So much fun. Said Romanoff

Once we pranked all of them Isabelles Dad and team got here. So, we went back up to Fury. We also told him and the Avengers that we were behind the pranks and all the fun that we had. Isabelle was so happy when we got back. She was so cute and hyper to hyper. We had to say sorry to all the agents and Avengers. All the agents were okay with it, because their Baby Agent was happy and not freaking out.
