In which her childhood friend returns as her teacher.
she fell first but he fell harder.

the girl's heart would still flutter at the thoughts of yesterday, she skipped to school feeling butterflies in her stomach. "why are you so happy huh?",yeonjun slings his arm across her shoulders. "i- i lost my first kiss!",she giggled as she threw playful punches at yeonjun. "oh."yeonjun's smile instantly dropped but he lifted his eyebrows quickly, acting like he was happy for her, "who is he?" "secret!!",she ran away with a smile on her face. "ah!", she gasped when her head hit someone's chest. but as soon as she looked up, the man has already walked by her. 'perhaps beomgyu is busy', she thought to herself while watching his figure disappear.
But during lessons, beomgyu was acting the same as earlier. when both chaemin and yesoo raised their hands to ask a question, beomgyu would only attend to yesoo. "sir beomgyu , i don't understand this too!", it was clear in chaemin's voice that her teacher's presence elated her. however, beomgyu didn't bother to look in her direction. "since i taught yesoo, ask her to teach you then.", he stated bluntly, not taking responsibility of his position. chaemin's jaw hanged open, confused about his attitude.
this occurrence continued throughout days , beomgyu constantly ignored her and would verbally pushed her away. chaemin laid her head on the table, not focusing in class. she thought to herself,'i have to speak to him, i must have done something wrong'
—————————————————— "what do you want!", the teacher pushed her hand away. chaemin has dragged him to the rooftop against his will, she was determined to get her answer. "why are you acting this way?",she frowned. "you can't expect me to be bias to you all the time.", beomgyu rolled his eyes. "bias?",she scoffed, "you've been so indifferent since that day!"
chaemin opens her mouth to speak but the words couldn't leave her mouth , she felt like if she continued the tears would spill out her weaknesses. "d-do you regret it?",she stumbled upon the words. the devastated girl gathered the courage to look at him with those teary eyes, he who swore to never hurt her. "yeah", he looked at anywhere else but her. "but you knew i like you all along and you just led me on! are you playing with my feelings?!", her breathing quickens as her bottom lips trembled. "perhaps coming back was a mistake too",beomgyu fixed his gaze on the ground. "then why did you?", she felt a sting of melancholy and confusion as he continued, "your mom asked me to change you. i just did it out of pity". chaemin shook her head with a mixture of disapproval and disappointment, "so it was all a lie. our memories meant nothing to you." beomgyu lick his lips , gulping as if he was guilty. "i understand", she nodded slowly and walked away , wiping her tear stained cheeks in the process.
"beomgyu?", she called for him as if she still had hope. "out of anyone, i least expected you.", she muttered without turning back.
