Chapter 5~Outrunning Karma

 A/N: I think I'm going to name the chapters after song titles but it will have nothing to do with the story. Well maybe.

Rays p.o.v.

I've been here for two weeks now. They give me lots of pills, every time I take one my head starts to hurt and I start feeling dizzy. 

After taking the pills for a couple of days I start coughing up blood. 

Just like Norman.

Every day I sit at a desk and do more problems, and of course, I got them all right. 

That was my new routine.

Wake up

Eat

Take pills

Do work

Take pills

Do work

Sleep

I eventually lost hope of the pro heroes saving me. I mean they obviously couldn't make a portal to the demon world. 

So I started making a plan to escape, but I had to make it different than Norman's. I'm sure that other facilities heard about the explosion he made to escape.

I start by cutting the tap wires from the camera in my cell. I didn't know what to do afterward.

Maybe I'll have to make a detonator.

Every time I do work I cut some wires by a wall with my knife that I got from my meals. I also find an old circuit board. It's a little rusty but I'll take what I can get.

After Im done solving the problems a demon guard escorts me to my cell. Once locked in I take out the circuit board and wires and lay them out on the floor. In my shoe, I have a tiny kit that has tweezers, a screwdriver, and other things.

I pull the kit out and grabbed the tiny tweezers, pliers, and soldering iron.

...Yes I have a tiny soldering iron.

With the tweezers, I grab a wire and place it on the circuit board. Then I get the iron and connect it to the Board. I repeat this process until all the wires are connected. 

Finally, the detonator is done.

I go to sleep knowing I'm going to be free.
