Author's Pov

The red haired angel stared at the beautiful woman resting infront of her with a bunch of other angels, surrounding the golden haired goddess. The other angels didn't look much jovial towards the young angel who was questioning their lord, the one whom they worshiped and followed all their lives.

The other angels never had a good term with Jena as she was the favourite angel of Methulva, the goddess of dreams and illusions.

Jena glared at the other nymphs and then at her master.

"Jena? What's wrong dear?" With a  delicate voice, the goddess spoke, getting up from her resting position to look at her favourite angel with a soft smile on her lips. Jena was mad, her face was red, almost matching her flaring red locks. Once she locked eyes with the goddess, fear swarmed into her body, she finally realised how disrespectful it was for her to barge in the goddess's resting chamber.

But what she feared more was the goddess. Even if her voice was soft and gentle, her dark gaze weren't synching at all. Jena lowered her gaze and kneeled down infront of the goddess.

Methulva smirked and caressed Jena's cheek before making her look up, gripping on her cheeks. "You didn't reply yet, my dear Jena."

"Y-you already know why . . . I'm here. . ."

"Huh? do I?" Methulva tilted her head, before smirking and eyeing the other angels behind her. "I'd like to have some privacy."

The angels hesitated a bit, not wanting to leave but they had no other options but to scram away from the chamber, leaving behind the two of them behind. The goddess took her seat and cupped her cheek, smiling at her favorite angel. "Why? Are you already attached to that human?" She asked making Jena look up at her, "Hm? You know what your job is right? Stop sympathizing humans, they'll only end up being hurdles in your way. It's just a friendly advice. Beware of humans. . ." The goddess sounded as if she hated humans although she was assigned for their welfare, she couldn't help but detest those creations made by her father for some reason.

"Master?" Jena blinked before sighing with a short nod. "I am sure I'm not attached to that human, it's just. . . what just happened doesn't explain the conditions you mentioned to me, what were those flashbacks, why was she getting them? Why she sounded mentally stressed and panicked ? Are. . . you hiding something from me, my master?" Jena asked as she hugged Methulva's leg, resting her head on the other's lap. "I'm just worried."

There was a moment of silence in the chamber, what Jena could hear was just the sound of the golden fountain and soft music played by the tiny water angels floating around the fountain. The silence wasn't peaceful as always, It was bothering her. She looked up to see Methulva pondering over something before looking down at Jena.

"Princess Han Kyung, she's cursed."

"Huh?" Jena lifted her head up, confused. "What kind of curse, my master? What does that curse say?" She bombarded the goddess with questions. "Why I didn't know about it before handed-"

"It's her fate. Sitara was born with the curse. There is nothing that can help the people of Algaria. It's the curse of obscurity." Methulva looked a bit troubled, but she knew that oneday Jena would question her and she'll have to explain everything to her, but she didn't knew that the day would come so fast.

"Curse of Obscurity? Isn't she- -"

"Yes. You are right, Obscurity, one of the 13 goddesses, the goddesses of enigma and unknown. The goddess who has been forgotten and isn't worshipped by any Algarian anymore. It was her fate and this is Kyung's fate." Methulva spoke.

"What was her curse? Why did I not know anything about it? Why did grandmother never told me about it? My master. . .  why did you hide it from me?" Jena questioned.

"I didn't know how to reveal you about this. I didn't think it was important but somehow. . . Ara reincarnated as Han Kyung but. . . how come she'll be the person who'll bring the Kingdoms together when she's the reason why the kingdoms will destroy once again-" Methulva muttered making Jena's eyes widen, she was more confused then before. "Confused?" Methulva asked the angel making her slowly nod. The golden haired goddess smiled before patting on her lap, "It's a long story my child."

Jena stared at the goddess, she knew what was going to happen next but inorder to know the truth behind everything she had to do what her master was asking her to do.

Sleep and dream. A lucid dream.

Jena sat down near Methulva's feet and rested her head back on the goddess's lap. "Have a good sleep, Jena." The soft voice made Jena nod and slowly close her eyes, the last thing she saw was a golden glow infront of her eyes and the soft music that was playing in the background, before everything turned pitch black.

Ji-eun's POV

The silence was killing me.

So were the letters , piles of letters and same amount of replies. I wasn't sure who that person was but sharing letters just made me more and more curious. I wanted to meet the person but. . . what if they are just playing with my feelings? What if it's just a jest for them?

I sighed and slowly walked towards my chamber. Few days ago someone knocked on my door but ran away before I could catch a glimpse of them. How can they be so reckless with someone's heart? Hmph. . .

I opened the door and walked inside. My room was larger than the chambers of other staffs , there were so many windows and the view was also amazing. I was more than thankful to the King , my King is really kind. Just he wants everyone to be happy but when it comes to him, he doesn't know what makes him happy.

I always thought that the King was very young for his position. Even though he ruled it properly but it wasn't something a young lad should do. . . He even had to marry someone he never liked romantically just to gain the position that he was born for. How stressing.

I walked close to the window and smiled. "The moon. . . is so beautiful." I whispered before my gaze landed on a piece of paper stuck on the window sill. "Hm? Another letter?" Confused, I tilted my head before looking out of the window. My eyes widened as my eyes met with none other than the King's hazel ones.

"Oh? Jieun-ssi?" He smiled making me blink and look down at him from the third floor window. "Did you get it?"

"G-got what?" I asked. The King flashed his cute boxy smile while gesturing something square with his fingers. What does he mean? "Huh? What , your majesty?" I asked. He stopped gesturing and then looked up directly into me eyes. The soft wind blew through his silky raven locks, his eyes sparkled just like the moon above his head.

WAIT. . . LETTER??

My heart started to thump against my chest, millions of questions filled in my mind, confusion and more confusion as I stared down at the letter I was holding and then back at him.

"Did you get the letter, Jieun-ssi?" he asked again, with a innocent look on his face.

No way. . . No it can't be. . .

"It was you-" I stopped speaking once I heard someone speak, interrupting me.

"It's not him. It is me."
