The world cried for someone, a faithful pet, or a plant, but for which one? Perhaps it cries for all. Theresa sat on the pavement of the path, soaked in the tears of the world. She sat before a statue of a woman who looked kindly towards others regardless of their origins. She was said to have been caring for all living beings whether it be plants, humans, or animals she cared for them all. She was dead though, rumored to never have existed as she hadn't been around for decades. Theresa lifted her head and opened her eyes to face the statue "mother earth.. why do you cry today? Was it the loss of a living? The humans have become corrupt daring to try and purchase these lands to take away the beauty you bestowed to be in our care. I fear it'll come to ruin if it continues this way" Theresa shut her eyes once more, listening silently before lifting her head off and nodding "for you mother. I'll do as you ask" she bowed when she stepped a decent distance away. She stood straight staring a the statue which returned to it's former position, it's eyes seemed to follow hers, she turned then left. The statue remained alone in the gardens now. She went to the outskirts, a wall was placed to protect the insides of the greenery. She went out and roamed, the brown grass under her steps turned green as she passed. She was healing the world slowly without realizing it. It was the blessing mother earth bestowed to her. It had stopped pouring a while ago so it seems her words worked. Mother earth had calmed and no longer cried after their momentary talk. A bitter sweet taste it left
