You were currently setting the table as you smiled softly. Today was your first anniversary with your husband Wakasa as you smiled. You were done with the preparations and you were now dressed in a silk purple dress that he bought for you as a birthday present.

You hummed as you only wore light makeup as you looked at the mirror smiling. You looked at the wall clock to see it was 8:25 PM, Wakasa usually comes home by 8:30 as you hummed and went to your seat and waited.

It was now 11 PM and there was no Wakasa insight. He didn't even text you to say he'll be late nor greeted you with "Happy Anniversary, my love."

It made you extremely upset as you just sighed. You got the food and placed it in the fridge as you cleaned up the place. After that, you went to your shared bedroom as you went to the bathroom to take a quick bath. As you were inside the tub you deeply sighed.

"Did he forget?"
you thought. Minutes passed as you got out of your bath as you got a towel and dried yourself. You went out of the bathroom as you walked towards your closet and wore some comfortable clothes. Your feet made their way into the bed, you once again let out a heavy sigh as you stared at the ceiling.

"Happy Anniversary, I guess..."
you mumbled lowly as a tear escaped your eye.

You slowly woke up by something heavy on your chest as you opened your eyes.

You saw Wakasa laying on your chest as he hugs you tight.

"I'm sorry I was late. I did remember our anniversary, I'm sorry I couldn't make it home in time I know you waited for me, please... Don't leave."
he mumbled as tears were threatening to fall from his eyes. You looked at him and smiled.

"Hey I won't, I won't leave you 'kay?"
you spoke as you pulled him up and hugged him on the chest this time. You look up at him and kissed his chin.

"I love you Waka, I won't leave you 'kay? Let's just go on a date tomorrow."
you spoke as you stroked his cheek. He shook his head as he cupped your cheeks. "I've been busy these few days so you deserve a reward for being patient with me. Let's go to Paris. I'll take a month off work." he spoke as you blushed. "A-Are you sure love?" you asked as he smiled nodding.

Both of you giggled as Wakasa kissed your forehead as he smiled looking at you.

"I love you," he spoke softly while stroking your hair as you smiled. "I love you too."

He smiled as he kissed your forehead before both of you fell asleep cuddling with each other.
