The sunlight sneaked gently through the curtains of the room, announcing the beginning of yet another day. It wouldn't take long for the light to hit your face subtly, and you opened your eyes to the most beautiful sight of all your life

You ran a hand through her silky blonde hair, getting to cup her left cheek shortly after, the warm skin on your fingertips was something you could never get tired of, and before you knew it, there was a hand on top of yours
A soft giggle caressed your ears before she opened her gorgeous blue eyes to look at you. Her eyes filled with just the same adoration you showed for her
Her: Morning, handsome
That smile only grew wider upon hearing her voice
You: Morning, beautiful
You leaned closer and gave her a peck on the lips, only for her to get ahold of your face and give you a bigger kiss, as she would often do
Shortly after she gave you a small taste of her velvet lips, your wife peeked around, becoming aware of the time as she turned around to look at the curtains and yawned
Her: We should... probably... get up
A chuckle left your lips at the adorable sight, but you wrapped your arms around her waist to keep her in place
You: Do we really have to?
You leaned closer to her and kissed her neck, with her chuckling at the action and passed her hand through your hair
Her: Oh, that's playing dirty
The blonde made you look at her, only to be met with another one of her kisses. However, this one was short-lived, as she pulled back and smiled
Her: But I gotta show commitment to the job if I want the principal to make me an actual teacher and not just a lab assistant
You whimpered at the lack of her lips, but you couldn't really get mad. She had been trying to get this job to be a permanent thing for weeks now
You: Fiiine
This earned a laugh from your wife, who cupped your cheek and offered you a tender smile once again
Her: Don't worry handsome. We'll have plenty of time for ourselves
You: I'll hold you to that
With that, the girl got up and headed to the kitchen to start the day officially
You, on the other hand, sat up and let out a yawn as you stretched. The light coming from outside caught your attention, so you decided to get ahold of the curtains and get a peek of the outside world
Almost immediately, a smile formed on your face
This world, what a beautiful thing it was

Every muscle was screaming in agony, begging for this to stop
