Chapter 3

Chapter 3 the fight

I woke up to the sound of arguing and things breaking. I raced down the stairs just in time to see Damon about to put a stake through Stefans stomach. Thankfully I was able to stop Damon in time but i did end up getting scratched from the wood.

"What the hell are you doing Damon calm down" i yelled at Damon.

He looked at me with an angry expression but i saw the pain in his eyes when he realized he had scratched my face

Stefen got up and came over to look at the wound on my face but it had healed before he got there.

"Can i go get dressed without you two idiots killing each other" i yelled my temper getting the best of me.

They both nodded but Damon disappeared and Stefen went to his room. In my room i choose a simple black long sleeved shirt with skinny jeans and black flats.

"Come on Rose lets go" Stefen yelled

At school Stefen introduced me to Elena since they had become friends the day before.

"Hi im Elena its nice to meet you" she said in a cheerful voice.

"Hi im Rose nice to meet you to" i said smiling.

Soon she had introduced us to Bonnie her friend and she was gonna introduce us to her friend Caroline but she was not here.

"Hey Rose you look like you might like cheerleading wanna join" Elena asked me.

"Sure why not" i said i didnt wanna turn her down and i used to cheer so i figures why not.

"Hey Stefen why dont you join the football team" i asked smirking at him.

He glared at me but agreed anyway. So after school we were warming up when i saw a familiar car. I saw Damon and who i assumes was Caroline because Elena and Bonnie where whispering about her.

But what really got my blood boiling was when se leaned over and smacked her lips on his before she got out. Damon must have saw because he smirked at me before he left.

After that i meet Caroline, who was really nice but a bit bossy sometimes though she didn't notice.

"Elena and Rose why dont you guys sit out and just watch for now ok" she said obviously annoyed by our lack of skills.

I looked at Elena who looked angry at her but soon just started to stare at Stefan which cause me to laugh.

"What" she asked me. Which made me laugh harder.

"You. Its funny but at the same time its cute" i told her causing her to blush.

After practice which went great ( note the sarcasm) i saw Damon and Caroline walk into the grill together which made my blood boil. When he saw me looking at him he smirked and whispered something in Caroline's ears causing her to giggle.

So i just turned around and acted like it didn't bother me because it didnt.Right? So i decided to just head home when i noticed Elena's little brother Jeremy so i decided to go talk to him.

"Hi your Jeremy right" i asked

"Yeah im Jeremy and whats your name" he asked smiling. Wow he was cute.

"Im Rose Salvatore" i said my real last namer was Asher but Damon and Stefan wanted everyone to think we were family so i changed it.

"Cool wanna play some pool" he asked and i said yeah which earned me a scoff from Damon which made me smile.

After beating Jeremy at pool i decided to head home and just relax. But when i walked in i saw something on the floor. I saw a necklace on the floor and recognized it right away. It was Emily Bennet's Katherine's old handmaids necklace. She was a witch and Bonnie's ancestor which made me wonder. Why was it here?

So i grabbed it and raced to my room before anyone could stop me. I looked at it but decided to pit it away and changed into a tank top and shorts and just decided to go to sleep.

But i couldn't because something didn't feel right. And then i smelled it. Blood. I forgot i hadn't feed and i was so thirsty that i couldn't hold it in. I felt the veins around my eyes and my canines getting longer. I followed the smell to Damon's room where i heard moaning.

I immediately ran to the basement and sucked a bloodbag dry before going back where Stefan found me and ran to my side.

"Are you ok Rose" he asked panicked.

"Im fine i just smelled blood and i got thirsty so i had to run and get a bloodbag" I said feeling guilty.

"Don't worry here ill walk you to your room" he said and we made our way to my room. When Damon came out.

"Hey guys" he said calm and collected.

I stared daggers at him while Stefan told him off.

"Did you even think about how your little game would affect Rose she almost lost control!" he yelled at Damon.

"Well she didn't so who cares" he said which made me angry.

"Well you know what Damon you can go to hell" i yelled and ran to my room where i cried my self to sleep. I hated Damon right now and didnt want to talk.
