Your POV
You weren't sure how long it's been, but possessed Newton hadn't come back yet. When he was with you, he tried to get you to tell him how to get to Earth. After a bit of interrogating, he took some of your DNA and left. And by the sounds of things breaking, you were sure he wouldn't come back for even longer.
You sighed. Where was Oddsock, Toggle and Swoop? You figured they'd be done by now. It was quite boring having to lay there on that thin piece of metal.
Luckily you were done waiting when Toggle burst through the door, Oddsock and Swoop following close behind him. Oddsock even carried the keys in his mouth!
Toggle quickly unlocked the chain and the three heroes led you out of the room and to the main hall.
Newton stood in the main hall, facing the four of you with an annoyed look.
"You four have really gotten on my nerves. But that doesn't matter now, for the time has come! I will destroy you, then descend to Earth, and become the most powerful being ever! I will become a GOD!" He exclaimed. Your eyes widened and you watched as he released the final Titan, leaving Newton's body to lay there.
Without thinking, you ran over and fell to your knees, grabbing Newton's limp body in your arms and clutching it tightly. You didn't realize it, but you had soon started crying.
Newton's POV
All he felt was soft arms holding him, the only sounds coming from Y/n; sobbing. His eyes fluttered open, and he was so glad to see Y/n that even in this moment, he smiled.
He reached up with his right hand and placed it gently on their cheek, causing them to open their eyes and look at him. Shock and joy spread across Y/n's face.
"N-Newton! You're okay!" They exclaimed. Newton smiled softly.
"Indeed I am chum. Thank you for saving me." Y/n smiled back.
But their happy reunion was ruined, as a fully constructed Titan pulled them into its mouth.
(A/N: Whew! The book is nearly over! Just so you know, there will be a second book to this which'll be pretty different from this one, but that's how sequels work, right? Anyways, hope y'all have a great day/night!
