Tired? That should never be the word to describe parents with toddlers and infants in their care. Exhausted? Nope. There should be a word worse than exhausted. Morisuke sighed heavily when two toddlers decided it would be fun to fight over him and make him the center of their tug-of-war. It's already 5:30 pm and most of the kids had been picked up but Ginji's and Ban's single parents were running late. Morisuke took it upon himself to care for them so that Darling could start cleaning up the classrooms.

"Ginji-chan... Ban-chan..." he whined as he was being pulled by the three-year-old boys from different directions. "Sensei is not a rope..."

"Ban-chan it bad-chan!" Ginji yelled, tears already streaming down his cheeks as he gave his all in pulling. He has problems pronouncing his S and R yet. "Ban-chan it ugly! Tupid!"

"Papa Yaku is mine! Ginji is ugly!" Ban gave a demonic laugh that made Ginji cry even more. Not yet satisfied by the reactions he was getting, he even stuck out his tongue at his crybaby classmate.

Done with the whole shenanigan, Yaku stood up and picked up both boys. "That's it. You two need your time out." His voice and face were stoic as he brought the kids to the other end of the room and made them sit facing the wall. "If you're ready to apologize and play nice, then we'll go for a walk."

He stood up and started to pick up the toys from the padded floors, straining his ears for any more banters from the kids but he only heard Ginji's sniffles. Once he was done picking up the toys, he walked back to the quiet boys who were both stubbornly staring at the wall, refusing to apologize to each other. He chuckled inwardly. The two boys were polar opposites. Ginji had golden hair while Ban had silver. Ginji's eyes were electric blue while Ban's were bordering on reddish due to its lightness. Ban is loud and happy-go-lucky while Ginji is usually quiet and serious. Ban would always do his best to get any kind of reaction from Ginji even if it meant getting in trouble.

"No apologies?" the adult asked as he sat between the boys. When they both shook their heads, he sighed. "It's okay if you don't want to apologize and to forgive now. At least you're both calm. In the future, when you're ready, you will know. Shall we go for a walk? Sensei needs to recharge."

The boys stood up from their seats and went to get their shoes on. Ban was done in a flash but Ginji had trouble with his shoelaces. Before Morisuke could even save the day, Ban was already tying the shoelaces for Ginji quietly. "T-thank you..." Ginji mumbled, which was responded with a grunt by Ban.

That made their sensei smile. They are just sweet little babies. When they were all suited up, Morisuke took hold of their hands and opened the classroom door.

"Going for a walk?" Darling asked as she was locking the Kindergarten Room.

"Yet, Dawwing-tentei," Ginji replied with a shy smile as he tried to hide behind Yaku-sensei.

"Yes, Miss Darling!" Ban winked at Darling and grinned brightly.

Morisuke chuckled and nodded. "No kids left today?" he asked with a grin.

"Nope, Kou-kun's babysitter came to pick him up early while Mori-san's older brother waited for the class to end," Darling explained. "I already called their parents to confirm."

"Good. When you're done, you can lock up. I have my remote with me."

"Thanks, boss," Darling waved at them as they walked out of the building.

Morisuke held onto the boys tightly as they walked. His feet took charge and before he knew it, they were in front of Happy Tiger Cafe. "Boys, do you want donuts?" The question was answered with a cheer from Ban and happy nods from Ginji.
