Solomon woke her life changed forever; family, friends all gone. The war was drawing to an end. She didn't like that end. Where was she? She tries to stand up, chain stop her. They left her to speak freely which was strange, that was the thing they hated, her voice although her skills were the most dangerous. She already knew the war was won, not to the right side though, the world would change forever. They had her after all that's what the war was about, getting the weapon, her. Her family and friends died for nothing. The corridor in front of her was dull but bright. At the end there was a door. Slowly, she looked around. To her left there were five guards, her pistol and her throwing knives. Then on the right there were another five guards, her daggers and her bow sat on a table. Also there was a shine coming from the table. She looked down. Her pendant. Anger fills her; no one knows she's awake though so she calms down. "Is she awake?" a guard asks. She acts as if she's still asleep. Another replies "The pill lasts at least another day maybe more, but by then we will have WON THE WAR!!!" A cheer up rises from the guards. Solomon tenses up, "we should have won, my family friends all dead because of you!" she thinks, trying to apply her training.

The door at the end of the room swings open. A voice shouts "IS SHE AWAKE?"

They all say "NO SIR!" Solomon knows who this is, "you should be dead, I saw you get shot" she thinks confused. "Good", the voice says. The man was close to her now, his breath tickling her skin.

"Then she won't be able to feel this" the man says in a whisper. Then before she knew it his hand hit her face. She kept her cool, like she had been taught. Then the man walks away. "No one hits my girlfriend and gets away with it" a voice in Solomon's head said. Her heart skipped a beat at the thought of the line; it was the line her boyfriend always said to her as a joke when she was training. Sadness filled her "he's gone now" she told herself. As she opened her eyes, red appeared then disappeared like a flash, she smiled; the red was the shade of his eyes, her boyfriend' eyes.

She looked around; sixteen guards now, not ten. She knew why, her 'pill' was meant to wear off soon, meant. She took in the cell, the way it was built, what was placed around. It seemed it was built just for her, electrified, glowing with light, small gaps between the bars' so she couldn't escape. Why would she, no home, no family, nothing. The war was all because of her. A year ago she had fought them alone, killing most of their best warriors with barely any injuries then he stepped up to fight. She fought him, he was strong she managed to cut down his right eye and he fell down. The rest of his army fled, he was taken hostage and shot, or that is what she thought. Then the war started, them wanting to have her to kill or to just keep as a trophy. Her species, the Spiders, trying to save her from them. "How could he be here" she thought. Outside the cell, on the walls, were pictures of her father being tortured, he was captured by them when she was ten. The pendant was given to her by her father before he went to war, enclosed are pictures of him, her mother and her boyfriend. She rests for a while.

Several hours later the door opens, he comes every hour. "Hey boy's, you wanna, play a game?" That voice, she recognises it.

"Sir, I believe you're not authorised to be down here" a guard say's.

"Maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong" the voice chuckles.

"Sir, you must leave. You have no right to be down here." The voice snarls then shout's "I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE DOWN HERE!" The guards are astounded; they are the best, the very best and a trainee soldier is challenging them.

"I'll take you on, alone" one say's

"Oooo I wouldn't do that Simon he might bite you!" another jokes.

"DON'T, push me" the voice say's as it calm's down. "You might need all of entire army to stand a chance."

"I doubt it!" Simon exclaims.

"Well if she can single handedly take down all your best warriors, I think I stand a chance." The voice replies

"How do you know about that? Story's?" Simon say's, the only one daring to speak.

"No silly I was there!" the voice laughs.

"Ha, so you were one of the cowards who fled!" Simon laugh's, the other's join in. "No, he cannot of been only the best were there and they are here now, guarding me. Only my army watched" Solomon thinks.

"I was not, unlike you... Simon, Paul, bill, must I carry on?" The voice said smugly

"n-n-no" Simon stutters "Can I ask how you know us?"

"No one hit's my girlfriend and gets away with it!" the voice shouts. Solomon's heart stop's for a second

"Tim?" she says. The guards turn to look at her.

"Hello, Kit!" Tim says. When she and him were training they called each other by their nicknames, Solomon was Kit, her boyfriend, whose real name was actually Enrique, was Tim. He used her nickname so often that it became like her real name.

The guards, realising their mistake, tried to back away.

"L-l-look w-w-we c-can t-talk about t-this, were sorry aren't we boys?" Simon stutters.

"Y-yes were s-sorry." They all say.

"You're too late, ten years too late!" Tim say's.

"Her father! It was not us we swear!" Simon struggles.

"No?" Tim asks.

"No sir!" Simon answers.

"Oh ok" Tim say's. Simon sighs. "But like I said no one hits my girlfriend and gets away with it!"

"Sir?" Simon got to say before a knife flies through the air, hitting him between the eyes. DEAD. Others follow hitting the other guards with great precision.

"You couldn't have left any for me could ya?" Solomon remarks sarcastically.

"Oh trust me, there will be more soon." Tim replies. Solomon giggles.

"On your time watching them you didn't notice which had the cell keys did you?" Tim asks.

"The one on the right." Solomon says. As Tim appears from the shadows Solomon could see him again. His skin a darker blue than hers, short dark brown hair covering him left eye, his eyes candy red like always. He was wearing a black hoodie with black jeans and brown convers. As he looked at her, she saw he had been crying, it was obvious as the green marks of them were all around his eye.

"What's wrong?" Solomon asks Tim worried.

"Nothing."   He answers looking away.

"Tim" Solomon says.

"There's no one left." He says surprised at the tone in her voice.

"I don't understand!" Solomon says.

"We're the only ones left." Tim says.

"In the city?" Solomon asks.

"On the planet." Tim says.

Silence.

Solomon closes her eyes, her heart drops. She starts to cry. An arm goes around her. Her chains fall to the ground with a clunk. She opens her eyes to see Tim standing there. She runs to him and he puts his arms around her.

"They must pay!" She sniffles.

"What are we waiting for then, get changed!" Tim says.

She looks down. "MY HOODIE!!" she exclaims.

"The only thing I could salvage" He laughs.

"Let's go then!" She exclaims.
